He’s not really a marketing genius so much is he knows the demographic to target. Women have always been susceptible for trends, as they are the ones that start social contagions.

M(mid 40s).. when this craze started, the look of disbelief on my daughter (teens) face when she found out I owned multiple Stanley mugs was shocking. Here I was cool as shit all this time and didn't even know it.....only thing I had wrong was why are they such an ugly color...

Man I love my classic green and beat up Stanley Thermos. My dad got it for me when I got my first job and it's still going to this day 30+ years later.
My parents had one from the 50s. They used it for over 50 years!
I'm still using my Grandpa's Old Stanley. Miss him. Think of him every day I have hot coffee on the job site.

@@amandar283 I hate the mass hysteria that instantly follows every unusual announcement. Nobody takes the 1 min to Google multiple sources and instead just repeats the the first thing they hear as undisputed fact. Lead is no joke and too many ppl have been poisoned by negligent officials but that's not the case here and multiple experts have come out stating that unless the bottom comes off, there's no lead contact. Common sense says keep an eye on it or buy something else but ppl would rather yell that the sky is falling instead

My daughter bought us the Bubba cup from wallyworld. Filled with water and ice, the water stayed cold for hours on a sunny beach. Impressive and cheap and colorful.
