Hello mate, i did everything that u showed in the video but when i saved my cluster data into pc, and load it into dumpeditor i have like only 3 things avaialable, does it mean that my cluster cannot do needle sweep? I have VW Bora mk4 v6 with cluster 1j5920845a (R. VDO v09) if someone can help hmu please ❤
Hello mate, i have a VCDS program with hex+can v2 interface...Do you know if that interface works with the vag can commander and DashDumpeditor programs?
It doesn't work using that cable.
You need the blue KKL cable from ebay.

Hi. I'm trying to read with a blue kkl cable, but in vag commander at COM PORT section it's nothing showed. Do you know any solution? In Device Manager(Win 10) it's showed the usb 2.0 serial

I managed to edit my cluster, the question is, what the rear door warning does? It is disabled for me. And when I open the door it shows me already.

@@ajrveedub well i found out that i have VDO 05 on sticker but code is 0.88 which is lower then probably yours. Is there any way how to update them?
now i tried to load EEPROM with updated version and no change, so i need to swap for newer dash. anyway thx for your time.
Hi! I have a Seat Leon 1M FR cluster with no fis, I was wondering if I can modify the EEPROM with DashDumpEdit to activate needle sweep, I've tried to read the eeprom with VAG EEPROM Programmer and I always get errors, "eeprom area blocked can't read it" or "rx timeout", I'm using an AliExpress cable VAG-K+CAN Commander 1.4. Please help!

Which software are you using please ?
I used eeprom programmer app to read and download cluster file.
I then used dashdumpedit to edit the cluster file to make all changes I needed to then upload to the cluster.
If I can’t do it with Carista then forget it. That’s way too many steps.

Haha dq250 is a big job, I'm unsure what's needed to code that in. I think as a minimum you need to be running me7.5 but isn't quote me on that! Haha

Hey mate, when I read it says no ECU found, what is the problem?
You can't read the ecu. Just the cluster. To read ecu it's a different app.
Yes, but when I read the Dash it says ECU not found, I mean strange.., I use use the same cable like you.
I installed the kkl cable driver and the VAG eeprom, I need to install something else?
@@poppa.9067 Cable is right! Did you set the com ports correctly? Check out the part where I show where to set the com port either 1 or 2.

Go into device manager and look after ports. Look for the cable name starting with a ch.
