Great tutorial! Very didactic even prefering the original colour scheme!
Thank you, and thanks for a positive comment even if you dont like the color, this ones get rare this days.
DIY Garage Projects and reviews Thank you for your time, its a viable tutorial on how to dismantle the clocks in the event of blown bulb or whatever!
My leds dont turn completely off. Rhey are glowing a bit when they should be off completely. Any fix for this.
Do you know which is code for original blue LEDs?
Do you still have the old LEDs?
Nice video. Fairly descriptive. I'm personally a fan of the colors of my Gauges, but to each his own. I would like to ask about the music though. It was nice. Could you share where you obtained it from?
+Trinidad Morales thanks, music was from free youtube library

Will a 12 Volt smd5055 led be ok to use or is that too high a voltage?
There is no 12v single led, they are all usually 3-3.6v connected in series of 3 and 4 to get to 12v
@@DIYGarageProjects thanks mate
You don’t force the clips up with a flat head , there’s a tiny tab you push down slightly and it releases without force.
The blue and red is as pretty a dash as you'll ever see. So who would want to change it? The music says it all.
Yup, i think the same too, he should just keep it that way, personally i like red more
Hi!
I have a VW Polo 9N (2004) with the following problem:
LEDs on my dashboard is quite fade, but the biggest problem is that I barely can see my handbrake LED.
Is there any way to resolve this issue? Or am I supposed to change the whole dash?
Did you know: if you live in a country with internet access you can have LED's shipped to your door for pennies. No need to desolder them from an existing product.
The more you know.
The less you enjoy
Is the original bulbs blue?
what is the bulb type for golf mk5 2004?
I think the white light is better. But that it is too bright. It makes the numbers less visible and it looks like it's making it blurry. Nevertheless, your skill and hard work is appreciated. I thought it was much harder to do. Soldering can be tricky, but with a clean tip you can do a lot.
I am from Egypt and your page is very good. Please answer my question
thankyou put How to replace bulbs in dashboard Toyota Corolla 2006

Hi, what's the voltage of the original diodes? Please give a reply, it's very important for me
+Bartosz Tomala 4 leds in series, so around 3-3.6v
Thanks for so quick answer :) I'm going to change my diodes there, so i should use about 3V ones?
+Bartosz Tomala u can order original diodes but different color, thanks for watching
Is it just me or does it look better how it was before. HAHAHA
Yep, looked better before, stay with OEM blue and red, this guy has saved me time and money
do they reflect blur?
What's the name of the LED bulbs? I want to buy them as a pack
white light is very high, I can see the the errors icons in board
but this is good idea , good job
Very interesting and usefull, like instrument panell removing and other things but the white light reminds me of old cars, plus is to strong and not so cool like the blue one
Do you know the voltage at the base of the led light.
And can i use a 5 mm LED DIODE?
Thanks for posting.
Never mind I found it. Its about 3.2 volts, so I can install an LED without a resistor.
