I wanted to give credit where it's due, so I went to Mod Yuey to ask who composed the music. He just replied, telling me Mod Grace and Mod Nixon were responsible for all of the sound in the Sanctum, so could you please credit them both? @Yann?
That's the thing, this fight has PLENTY of similitude to Tombs of Amascut but at the same time is so distinctly different, it's a bit weird if you think about it. As a metalhead, I have become disappoint :( But I'll be honest, this doesn't have that epic momentum of the Tzhaar Front, it's not an Epic Fight against a Demigod born of flame, it's basically a fight between us and the Legiones' Mum.
This has that signature sound of Mod Slippers! Lots of callbacks to "A Malice Unleashed", but less intense. It's pretty hard to be disappointed with the runescape ost, but this one is a bit.... ehhh.... underwhelming? I mean, don't get me wrong it's cool but... that's just it, it's nothing crazy, but at the same time it doesn't sound bad, a solid 7/10.
Well actually, I checked with Yuey and it's by Mods Grace and Nixon, with Mod Grace actually writing the music and Nixon on the sfx. Wrote about it in a general comment too.
I agree. The whole sanctum soundtrack isn’t beat-you-over-the-head intense, but it serves its purpose. My main issue is with the gameplay - where is our ‘Phite Club sequel?
Same, I like the opera singer and simpler but epic melody. Felt majestic listening to it when first entering the dungeon. Then frantic which is what the fight kind of feels like with the multiple heads.
No way it's a great opening for sure but this song is perfect for Nakatra. It's not too distracting yet sticks out enough to enjoy while you're focusing on not messing your dodges up. Vermyx needed a song with lots of flourish since he is the easiest boss basically a combat dummy, egg catch simulator.
Fits so well with the theme!
Such a cool boss fight!

"WHAT _ARE_ YOU?!"
Idk what with the comments i love this song and it fits so well
Awww man.. I was really hoping this would sound a bit like Amascut's Promise from osrs, like how Glory of Combat is a metal version of Inferno.
Awww man.. Such a bummer. Will you be okay?
@@janfrompolde I don't even play runescape anymore, so I'll be peachy. Thanks for caring, bb! Muah! 😘
I came here to check too lol
Wouldn't had fitted anyway, you were fighting two automatons.

Sounds like callbacks to Corruption Slayer more than a Malice Unleashed imo. But I think I hear what you hear too. :)
@@mati888100Mod Slippers of the composer of Malice Unleased.
I find the Vernyx track better than the final boss music hahaha
