I am so serious when I say, almost all of us have done these brows. I am 36, and in my high school (1994-98) sperm brows for all. There was no UA-cam or beauty bloggers, so we were left to our own devises. So tragic. So, so tragic.
I'm 37 and I just remember piling on brown covergirl eyeshadow...
I once sent Robert Pattinson fan mail asking for his autograph and he sent me an autographed pictured I nearly died when it came back so of course I framed it and put it in my room the craze was real hahahaha 😂😂😂

Omg, I wore a Revlon eyeshadow called Baby Strawberry, it was my staple, and roll on lip gloss, never wore foundation my skin was so nice back then. Graduated in 1978! And I still remember that eyeshadow! Thanks for the fun memory Jamie.🌻

I never wore concealer either, but I LOVED mascara, blush and lip gloss! Cover girl and Maybelline had it going on! (Class of '77)

count your blessings,girl,the 80s and 90s were horrid. at one point,my blue shadow had to go with my blue mascara that went with my blinding frosted pink lipstick. the frostier the better. The 90s,I went through a raver phase AND a goth phase. I thought I was being artistic...I looked like a toucan hooker(even rocked a candy necklace and damn pixie dust..cringe), or for a brief moment-death. yikes!

This made me want to see what makeup I wore in high school and looking in photos I only wore mascara, lipgloss, and a little bit of eyeliner. I could have sworn I used this revlon eyeshadow quad everyday... maybe lack of primer made it disappear by the time photos were taken!

I loved this Covergirl quad that had light pink, light blue , yellow and maybe lilac eyeshadow. I managed to squeeze all four shades on my eyes everyday!!

I've lost my baby nephew and his funeral was over the weekend. I've been falling back into my depression and it's been really hard for me. THE BANG CLIP 😂😂😂 I used to do it too. I also used to contour my face with blush because I was scared of bronzer since my skin was so fair. It was bad. And I wore Clinique red, red, red lipstick every single day, no matter what I was wearing.
I graduated high school a year ago, and honestly I didn't really wear makeup at all; but when I did, it was some mascara my mom got from Avon, and in my senior year I incorporated Nyx soft matte lip cream in Prague, lol. Your skin looks amazing, btw
Cover girl powder foundation was my go to!
I did almost the exact same thing. Mineral powder foundation, I did not use blush or bronzer, then I put black liquid liner on top and a black pencil on the lash line. That was it! I really wasn't into makeup during high school, as long as I had eyeliner on I was good to go.
This look shows the real transformative power of makeup and how unflattering it can be when applied in certain ways. You look like a completely different person.
I related way too much to those eyebrows and that twilight shirt, felt like I was watching myself revert to my junior high/highschool days. Made my day Jamie these videos are hilarious 😂😂😂😂

I really like this tag! It is pretty funny to see what everyone used to wear as well as just to think about what I used to wear. I only wore eyeliner and mascara; I wore the Cover Girl liquiline eyeliner in black on my waterline and then the Maybelline One by One mascara. I wore this literally all the way through college! Once I got into college, I started to line my top lashline more than my bottom lashline, but still... lol. I had no concept of anything else, mainly because my mom wasn't into makeup and she always told me that makeup would make you look older over time. I didn't get really into makeup until after I graduated college and found a real job. Anyways, love this video and I can't wait for your next one!

I was in high school in 94-97, so the trend was the matte lipsticks in nude, browns, black, terracotas exactly like now, but with a lipsticks that was sooo drying and barely pigmented, so it was a nightmare but i did it everyday. The metallic eye liners was so new also, and i sometimes draw a simple line in silver in my eyes 🙈. Thanks for the video! It was so fun!

So happy you did this challenge, so fun!! You look a little ridiculous but I probably looked much worse. I used to apply liquid foundation with my hands like a moisturizer, then apply concealer in the oh-so-flattering half-moon shape under my eyes and then slather bronzer all over my face with about 4 layers of clumpy mascara. It was great 👏🏼

My favorite products in high school was the Covergirl Tinted Moisturizer with SPF, burts bees lip balm, great lash mascara and my Ammo palette from Urban Decay! Concealer? What is concealer? Lol, your tutorial is perfect. Our brows did a lot of improving since then!!

When I was in high school, Maybelline had this BB Cream I loved because I heard it had benefits for your skin or something. I spread it across my face with my hands, did a wing liner with elfs cream liner & loaded my lashes with my moms Clinique mascara. 🙃 that is all.
I over plucked the brows as well. I remember using the Maybelline Dream Matte mousse or the MAC studio fix powder, MAC bronzer, MAC peachy keen blush....Maybelline mascara (red tube) and those Long eyeshadow quads from Maybelline also....my mom didn't wear a lot of makeup and beauty bloggers were NOT on my radar in 03-07....I don't even know if UA-cam was around back then LOL. I know I did NOT wear lipstick or gloss and now I NEED a liquid lipstick.
I actually like your highschool look, and you do look like a teen again! I only wore 4 products in highschool and it was all L'Oreal: Navy blue eyeshadow, blue eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss (no face products). My fav. item was the eyeliner and sometimes I would wear it without the shadow on the top lid and waterline. I still wear the eyeliner only look (and gloss) when I'm at an outdoor event or cottage.
I just got out of high school, but I know for sure from 6th grade to Sophmore year I would ALWAYS wear Covergirl Lashblast volume mascara. I wore it because my mom wore it

high school was the horrible time where I chose to use either wet n wild sparkly pink lip gloss (in the skinny tube, it was 99 cents), not flattering at all... or I'd wear just eyeshadow. covergirl, either shimmery orange (in thought it was tan) or matte purple (thought it was brownish). no concealer, rarely mascara. i'm mildly red deficient hence watching youtube tutorials to get descriptions of colors XD yay for beauty vloggers!
This is my favorite tag! It's so fun to watch how everyone did their makeup in high school. I remember using black eyeliner on the top, lower and inner of my eyes! Wth was I thinking?! I used concealer but it was the Maybelline stick and only under my eyes UGH! Oh and PURPLE BLUSH!!! We all used to use this paint on gold highlight in our hair too! Girlll..I once wore purple and orange eyeshadow on my lid for Halloween at school. No blending..no eye primer. Just imagine. Those were my eyeshadow looks back then. As for the face, I once dabbed concealer on my pimples without blending the concealer lmao 👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶

I wasn't allowed to wear makeup to high school (private school) but sometimes id wear some foundation and in the afternoon id line my eyes so the next day they'd be smudged enough to give me a "look" but not enough so i could get in trouble. I also remember buying lipgloss when i was like 13 and wondering why it stung so much... Turns out it was clear mascara!

In Australia high school is for 6 years and starts from 11 or 12 . I graduated in 2001 so photo evidence of my makeup is pretty much non existent. No phone cameras (or UA-cam) to help a girl out! The only thing I can remember I had in high school was an eyeshadow "pallet" that was in the shape of a CD. It had neon bright stupidly low quality shadows that I loved! The neon green and electric blue were my fav! I still love neon green eyeshadow. I just now use MUG Shadows and know how to blend! 😂 👶👶👶👶👶

P.S. In high school I wore Cover Girl Clean foundation and powder every single day...and NOTHING ELSE. Sometime around second semester senior year my friend Kelly suggested I try wearing some mascara, which I did, but OMG - looking back at some of those old photos is painful. I look like a ghost!! A ghost with acne and bad, bad eyebrows.

Tell me why at 15 I was a) shopping at Mac? B) using navy blue fluidline gel eyeliner. Bold move.

Same! I just graduated and my high school makeup wasn't bad thanks to UA-cam lol. But middle school was no eyebrows, bright blue eyeshadow, too dark of foundation, bright pink lip, and some pathetic mascara. *cringe* 😨😬😂

I always wore whatever foundation was cheapest lol (and always a shade too dark) MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow (my only eyeshadow for like 3 years) tons of black eyeliner and covergirl lash blast mascara.
I didn't even know what to do with concealor and I only owned one eyeshadow brush lol! I thought I was hot shiz!

I never put my bangs back in high school (graded in 2010). My hair was always in my face, and my mom would always say she couldn't see my eyes. Now, I can't stand having my hair down and it's always up and out of my face! :p

How I did my makeup in high school: as much eyeliner I could pile on my upper and lower lashline, sometimes switch it up a bit by using a colorful eyeshadow and a damp eyeliner brush, foundation that was 2 shades darker than me because I REALLY wanted to hide my acne scars, oh and some chapstick :)))

I used to wear dark green smokey eyes (not much different then I do now. I had decent makeup skills - minus the blending LOL) with dark green eyeliner, or I'd wear darker purple shadow with matching eyeliner. I had to match my eyeliner to my eyeshadow lol my mom wouldn't let me wear black liner. I wore sparkly bronzer all over my face 😂🙈 like the Physicians Formula shimmer strips lol it looked pretty but good god it made my face glow like a supernova! My brows were okay tho lol my mom made sure I didn't over pluck them 😊 I do remember the lipstick I wore tho! The Covergirl LipSlicks lol and the Covergirl Lash Blast mascara. I loved makeup in high school so I always took pictures from my Seventeen magazine and tried to copy what the girls in there were wearing.
