I started wearing makeup in fifth grade. I would wear JUST an eyeshadow on my lid and it always had to be the same color as my shirt or dress. 😂

Those palettes aren't that bad. I have a few of L.A. Colors and Wet N' Wild and I love them. I use strictly drug store products. You just gotta know how to use them properly and apply. They're not as pigmented as higher end brands, but they're not too bad :)

This cracked me up bc I seriously thought I was the SHIT at going my makeup in high school but looking back now... not so much. lol I used to do my hair exactly like that too! haha Except I had a cheap "blonde" aka orange ass dye job so you could see the damage in my hair really badly bc I always crimped my hair. -_- Not cute. My contour was literally dark, dark red SHIMMERY blush and I never used powder to set my super cakey foundation and then wondered why it only lasted like two seconds into the day. Haha I did use a brow powder and an angled brush for my brows so they definitely could've been way worse. Super glossy orange lipgloss was a must. Haha And my eyeshadow was always CRAZY bright and shimmery. I have hooded eyes. It was a mess. Loved your video, girl! Really took me back!

Here's what I would use in high school from 2006-2010. Cover girl mineral loose powder (sparkles galore!) revlon liquid eyeliner top and bottom lids, very thin line. Maybelline original mascara (the pink and green one) Nothing on my brows (thin eyebrows) no blush, no bronzer, no contouring of any sort. Some kind of lip gloss and only lip gloss. I wasn't really into eye shadows back then but sometimes I would use the small Almay eyeshadow trio for BROWN EYES with the sponge tip applicator it came with lol.
