Terrific walk that Dave in good weather with spectacular views. A favourite area of mine. For old codgers like me Rannerdale Knotts is an example of the fact that you can still get wonderful views in great areas without getting onto the big fells.
Yeah i think this has been one of if not my favorite day out since I started the channel.. everything went well, no wind, pure clean skies.. Was my first time on rannerdale knotts.. quite tricky coming down it which i didnt film but great views. Thanks lad :)
Another crackin walk Dave....one of my favourite ridge walks is that. We missed Rannerdale off as we had done it on its own after walking Ard Crags and Knott Rigg...great video again...ATB
Hardest part of this walk was coming down rannerdale knotts.. tricky little path that.. I think this is probably my favourite walk int lakes.. just feel comfortable in this area.. not alot to make for concern.. Thanks for watching tek care :)
Great video and a new local subscriber from Cockermouth..the first accent is Whin Ben which warms you up for Whiteside and the first pile of stone on the top is the summit. This is my local and favourite quick walk…enjoying your content cheers Mike 👌
Ey up Marra, brilliant video mate, cracking route. I’ve still to do Whiteside and Hopegill Head. There is a path right down in the bottom of Gasgale Gill. It’s a stunner mate, I came down it when I did the Grasmoor group. There is some photos and videos on my route video if your interested. All the best mate, Dave 😀🥾⛰
Another fantastic walk, Dave, no wonder you were puffed at the end. I liked the bit were you tried to run a bit but it's really not your thing - leave it to the experts!! I loved the route and the ridge walks and you've definitely inspired us to try Grasmoor. We have done Rannerdale Knotts and consider the view from there one of the best. Castle Crag for wild camping will be great - you can try the Dalton Millican cave when you're there. Great stuff as always, took me a few days to watch, but watched it all - are you the new Black Crag???? - Regards, Ashley
haha i do like to waffle on.. but nah, i just wanted to get this walk on video and do it justice, done a couple of short ones on grasmoor before that i wasn't happy with but theres just so much to say and show about this one.. Great hike Dave. You just can't beat that scenery, breathtaking. I've not been down to the Lakes since December, weather an'all. hope to do this one very soon though. Happy Hiking 👍
