Hi there, many thanks for the lecture. I was wondering if there was a method of interpolating between different sets of boreholes within a given area to create a cross section that does not nessecarily have the initial boreholes contained within it ? I know that the result of this would be fairly inaccurate as it would be based on assumptions of subterranian ground conditions but wanted to know if there was some sort of method to go about doing so as i havnt seen much outside of geospatial analysis software.
Greetings from India Mr. Ivan. Thanks a lot for all your easy to understand lectures and videos. I would request you if you could also make a easy lecture on Geotechnical Investigations for rock and soil for a Tunnel project or in general. How many numbers per test per Borehole and what should be the frequency of each test. Sort of elaborate document. It would be really helpful for all of us Engineers and Geologists.
Thanks for the comment; usually all this is defined by a standard on geotechnical investigation which may vary in different countries. The standard will provide guidelines based on site conditions and the type of structure. I will try to make a video on this later.
thanks for your video . it is useful for me. i hope if you could learn me which Microsoft office use to make my report? and how i get legend for borehole logs?
Great video!
Note: In the normalization calculation (N1,60), you forgot to divide by 60% (or 0.60). The N1,60 should be 34.8, not 20.4. Please check.
Does the correction factor also apply to standard unit of measurement or is the example shown for metric measurement only?

Sir, how do we determine the soil bearing capacity for each depth?
Use terzaghi bearing capacity of course
Hello, sir. How do I know or solve for the soil cohesion given the data? Thanks for the help
Can we do it for N30 normalization too?
Nice lecture..can I please get PDF file of this lecture
Thank you so much for this lecture

@@GeoEngineeringandScience thank you Mr.Ivan. it would be extremely helpful if this document could be shared.

There is some free software to draw boreholes available on the Internet, you can find it there.
Great lecture sir. Please provide excel sheet.
I don't have an Excel sheet (or maybe I don't understand your question, sorry). There is lots of information/links available on the Internet.
