You cannot purge yourself from emotions nor attachments like the Jedis do. These things are part of being sentient. Hell, even their unyielding adherence to their code is attachment. But don't go too deep to the Dark Side either, as somebody said in the comments, absolute power is corrupting. I say, in order to become truly balanced in the Force, one must embrace both sides. Have ideals and defend it to the core, but if you have to be pragmatic, do not hesitate to adapt. The general rule of thumb: Too much of anything is good for nothing.
This is basicaly one of the things that u need to know, as in dont eat a shit ton of bananas until you die from radiation poisoning, if the heart attack dint kill you, or the potassium

If it were then we’d have been assigned to a Jedi Master, beaten her before she could use her reverse Dun Möch, and probably have been too valuable to take any of the trials at the temple. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan were capable of contending with Sith as an apprentice with help from their master, with the latter even managing to win after Qui-Gon’s death.

A Depressed Sith reminds me of Darth Gravid who was a Sith Lord that basically had an existential crisis and tried to blend both Sith and Jedi teachings into one. This obviously failed as both sides aren't compatible with each other and almost ruined the Sith Grand Plan but he was killed by his apprentice Darth Gean.
I can't help but think that despite their taint, due to a mix of things the former padawon couldn't truly bring themselves to end their former master partly due to lingering attachments to them. Possibly even finding comfort and soothing in their voice and presence. If there is another part, perhaps it would start out with a nightmares formed from memories of the purge. When the former master comes to check on us due to sensing a disturbance, the firmer padawon asks her to stay. Likely still suffering from a bit of depression, and her especially saving them from it, they would need their former master to help them. In a way, it might remind them of when their former padawon was a child and attached to her quickly for strength, comfort, and guidance.
(I suppose this asmr earns my respect, as I enjoyed it. I like this as much as I loved Star Wars. Keep it up.) Even when I am a Sith, I keep things in balance. But as for being saved by the Jedi, I don’t mind being saved, as it means being saved from suffering.

Additionally if you’d like to make an argument for blasters, blaster-proof armor exists and a competent force user can simply stop a bolt.

While the dark side is over acting, pushing to keep moving, the light side is too passive to the point of indecision at times. I personally believe that the concept of "balance" needs to be taken more literally, instead of each sides concept that balance means all their side. And I believe this audio actually sets up the listener character perfectly to become a "grey jedi", and that is really cool.

I think id perfer to be a light leaning sith. Let my emotions flourish and my choices be my own but not be a total psychopath like alot of sith are portrayed. Though being evil is a whole lotta fun. Jedi have to obey and uphold the law and have so many morals its suffocating. They cant kill a defeated or unarmed enemy cause its "wrong" but that just gives them a chance to take another shot later. As a sith you can try diplomacy first and then fight and finish the job and ensure they cant do harm again without getting into trouble with a council.
The only reason I'd be a sith is because I have an immense passion for helping people. And, contrary to popular belief, the Dark Side is filled by passion.

The saddest part about this is that the Jedi *and* the "Sith" apprentice are wrong here. Jedi are wrong about all emotions being inherently bad by virtue of their existence alone. Then when you have an inevitable stress response from years or even decades of bottled emotions (say, a stress response to the Jedi Purge, perhaps?), the flood of adrenaline *feels* powerful because that is literally how adrenaline works. Then it wears off, and the apprentice "falls" through a combination of self-fulfilling prophecy nonsense about feeling emotions they've been indoctrinated to believe are inherently bad, wanting another fix of this "dark" power that is just adrenaline and not actually the dark side, and the self-inflicted shame of thinking it's already too late because they felt anything at all. How coincidental, I just finished watching Star Wars VISIONS for the 10th time now and YT recommends me this. Amazing.
If I was a sith or jedi I would wield a rocket launcher instead of a lightsaber, seems much more practical
You underestimate the power of the Force… a proficient wielder can redirect rockets and prevent fire from touching its target.
Yeah play some jedi knight and see how that works out for you. Pure laser weapons or those geonosian sound things however are much more practical

As a sith you can try diplomacy first and then fight and finish the job and ensure they cant do harm again without getting into trouble with a council.

The saddest part about this is that the Jedi *and* the "Sith" apprentice are wrong here. Jedi are wrong about all emotions being inherently bad by virtue of their existence alone. Then when you have an inevitable stress response from years or even decades of bottled emotions (say, a stress response to the Jedi Purge, perhaps?), the flood of adrenaline *feels* powerful because that is literally how adrenaline works. Then it wears off, and the apprentice "falls" through a combination of self-fulfilling prophecy nonsense about feeling emotions they've been indoctrinated to believe are inherently bad, wanting another fix of this "dark" power that is just adrenaline and not actually the dark side, and the self-inflicted shame of thinking it's already too late because they felt anything at all. Round and round this circle goes.
*(gets down off soapbox)* But enough about that. Great audio, Cadence!
