ASMR Non-believer here. Been sifting through ASMR for a week now trying to see if all ASMR is complete garbage or if like most things there are rare gems. I'll tell you why this is an excellent video(audio?), But first, let me list what I've found makes a bad ASMR. 1, Pornstar Voice, immersion dead-on-arrival 2, Poprock Mouth Syndrome 3, Mic Scratching. Sounds like ripping tangled hair. 4, Clearly Incorrect Voices, at least try to make it match. 5, Out of character. While I understand for ASMR deviations might need to occur, completely derailing is a speedrunner tactic for losing viewer interest. Now that we know what makes bad ASMR, let's talk about why THIS one is GOOD. Simply put? It follows the do's and don'ts. Excellent voice acting that lines up with the intended character. I'd be disappointed now hearing anyone else even TRY a Dragonkin Queen. Good voice work falls apart if you derail the character. She stayed well within character. Vague scenario and listener. Nothing too specific, easily immersive. Good audio volume. Not so quiet you can only hear with headphones. Many, many more mynute details that are too small to mention but create a simply stellar quality audio experience. It's not your standard "uwu so cute" comment, but it's also not your standard video either.
