I enjoy your videos so much as well as your music choices. I wish they were longer although I understand that involves a lot of work. The music you chose in this video is amazing. I have listened to it at least 10 times. Also the song from your dessert video.
Could you possibly post a link to the video with the CD case enclosures I haven't come across that one yet I'm binge watching as many of the videos as I can a day lol thanks.
Awesome idea. I'm going to definitely do this for my Rose Hair! I can just hang her up on the wall in my office. Although I think I'm going to try adding an LED light strip at the top. Genius!
I was just thinking about a thick frame for an arboreal/terrestrial with a huge tree like scenery and substrate for nice viewing experience. My only thoughts that brought about issues were the access and maintenance. Keep up the amazing videos 💕
Oh I love this idea! Thank you so much for sharing. I wonder if this would make my mother in law feel anymore better about walking in my house if my collection looks more like photos! LOL. ;)
I had the same question, especially for messy species, people who get earth tremors, or clumsy friends who might knock it off the wall! Could you drill enough discrete holes in the top and sides of frame to avoid having to drill the plexiglass? An unimpeded view would be even more stunning!
I see you have a tub with various natural resources (Leaves, wood and sticks) are these ones you pick up outside or do you specifically buy them? I just ask as some sites recommend not bringing things from outside into the enclosure as you might be introducing disease and other small creatures into your enclosure without knowing. Is this true? If you do buy them where do you get them from?
Well, you earned your 135K subs, that's for sure!! Dude, you have to most awesome cool ideas I have ever seen so far. I'm a DIY fan myself, but oh boy..... you are a real genius! Ps: subbed yesterday to your channel and linked a video to my FB ;) (ferrero box for sling enclosure)
I'm not bold enough to not put a backer on it but I love this idea! Will definitely use it. Did you post pictures anywhere of this once your T webbed it up? Would love to see them.
Beautiful enclosure for a Beautiful specie! Few questions,.... 1. What size do u recommend for smaller slings? (Less then 1 inch) 2. A few of my babies are big time burrowers, I'm talking like NY underground subway routes lol. Would that work in one of these "frames"? Would i wanna go deeper down or wider with the frame coming out more in order to accommodate to their needs? 3. Since all of mine are still a bit on the small side w/ my biggest being 1 3/4in. They are not always easy to feed & many times i have to dig out the dubia with tweezers cuz it managed to avoid being noticed & hides. I dig him out sp that i KNOW whether or not my baby ate. Should I continue to dig him out or just leave it be & trust my baby will get him eventually??
Obviously only if the work but I mean my first diy they won't be the t's first enclosure lol I've been watching u for awhile now and going back and watching all ur older vids and I love them and I can not wait to be ready to get one
Could you not line the wood inside with acrylic as well, seal edges, and then do what you did? It is amazing, I'm thinking a heart butt dwarf would be perfect in that... Or a jumping spider... Or a ghost mantis! Might hafta try this project... 😊❤️
This looks really good and professionally made. Did you glue the wood to the wall of your apartment at 5:10 ??? Do you/have you considered selling the enclosures you make?
Awesome idea! Thanks Petko. My basement room is perfect for this. I love your channel. It is 1,000xs better than your competition. You are very entertaining. I love your quirkiness. You should call it "sectzie time" when breeding tho. Get it... in'sect'. Yeah, I'm a dork too. 🤓
what is the little thing called to lock the door? little plastic bit with the screw, I can't find one anywhere under "plastic swivel latch hasp thing?" Thanks!
Not such a spider lover/keeper myself, what other sorts of things would these work for? They look sick! Keep up the good work! Learning alot to teach my daughter 😁
I would have put plexy glass covering the back so that when you take it down he does not get out and so you do not destroy his webbing when your move it. other then that perfect and I think ill copy it
The Dark Den Got the wall hanging things Now I just need to try and cut the plexiglass sheets precisely (which might be a problem) also, where did you get the acrylic hinges? I just find metal ones Also, thanks again for the Idea and thanks for the awesome Idea and the answer
As I said in the video, the ones that need low humidity. Like most African tarantulas or some desert scorpions...I'm not good with scorpion species but there are probably some that don't need high humidity ^^
I didn't they were sitting in my closet on dry place for like a year. Usually I only threat stuff my baking or boiling If they are freshly taken from outside.
Of course, I would suggest you to go somewhere away from city or fields because of potential pesticides or similar chemicals. Some clean forest is ideal :)
I would absolutely love to make something like that! Sadly. . I'm a teenager and asking my mother for plexiglass, hinges and a deep frame would probably not work 😂
The wall behind the enclosure will never be the same again
Thanks for always showing more affordable ways to build enclosures! And ones that look awesome too.
Cool video. But why didn't u just cover the whole back in plexiglass?
+B3_Water Exotics Tbh, mostly because of a laziness...it is a hustle to cut plexi and I had that small piece that only needed small trimming. :P
And the earth should fall out without that piece ..
Plexiglas is expensive and he is not a millionaire YET... soon he will hit 300k!
no it won't he put a backing piece that covered the back just high enough to stop the substrate falling everywhere
@@redfaux74 rewatching this in 2021!!
I had this EXACT same idea when looking at similar shelves I had, and was glad to see someone else had thought of the same thing. 😯
That is a neat enclosure for a neat tarantula.
I enjoy your videos so much as well as your music choices. I wish they were longer although I understand that involves a lot of work. The music you chose in this video is amazing. I have listened to it at least 10 times. Also the song from your dessert video.
Great video. This has given me inspiration for a much larger project within the next year. Thank you.
Petko you make the coolest Enclosures!! That was awesome!!
You should make and sell these and the CD case ones
Maybe one day ^^
Could you possibly post a link to the video with the CD case enclosures I haven't come across that one yet I'm binge watching as many of the videos as I can a day lol thanks.

Keep up the amazing videos 💕

awesome vid, keep up the good and creative work!
Hey I'm just curious how this is going? How did the humidity go? What's the cleaning like? Had the spider tried to escape?
I had the same question, especially for messy species, people who get earth tremors, or clumsy friends who might knock it off the wall! Could you drill enough discrete holes in the top and sides of frame to avoid having to drill the plexiglass? An unimpeded view would be even more stunning!
Ye, all of those things could be implemented. This was just the first realization of an idea, it can be greatly improved ^^
This was a really cool idea!

I guess I am 4 Years late, but I believe Petco has a video about that as well, now.

Can you do a update on your wall hanging enclosure
Cool idea!😃👍
Could you not line the wood inside with acrylic as well, seal edges, and then do what you did? It is amazing, I'm thinking a heart butt dwarf would be perfect in that... Or a jumping spider... Or a ghost mantis! Might hafta try this project... 😊❤️
Can you do this with a full grown scorpion? I wanna do this with a scorpion when I get one in the future. I'm not too educated with scorpions yet.
I have these same shelves! I guess I have a project coming up! 😄
Very well done!
really cool. I wanna do this
This looks really good and professionally made. Did you glue the wood to the wall of your apartment at 5:10 ???
Do you/have you considered selling the enclosures you make?
Yep, I will probably need to fix/paint that part of wall if I ever move that enclosure :P
I did, but still not seriously enough.
you should sell it, they look awesome!
Love it! Maybe I'll try this idea of yours soon. :) Another thumbs up (Y)
Good luck, feel free to share the results :D

+Lonerstreakx They are called Dremel tools or something like that

If you were to sell them you should put glads on the back though.., otherwise really cool!
which spider did you put in this? :) Nice video and very good idea! :D
You have the exact same model of office chair as me!
I would have put plexy glass covering the back so that when you take it down he does not get out and so you do not destroy his webbing when your move it. other then that perfect and I think ill copy it

I didn't they were sitting in my closet on dry place for like a year. Usually I only threat stuff my baking or boiling If they are freshly taken from outside.
do you think if I took live leaves from outside boiled them and l,et them dry out they would be safe?
Of course, I would suggest you to go somewhere away from city or fields because of potential pesticides or similar chemicals. Some clean forest is ideal :)
Can we get an update on this t
I would absolutely love to make something like that! Sadly. . I'm a teenager and asking my mother for plexiglass, hinges and a deep frame would probably not work 😂
Same. I'm looking for a job rn, but it's hard
