Alexis was chasing a lifestyle and Blake's father must have been aware of this on some level even if Blake wasn't at first. So in addition to being a recompense for the way he treated Dominique and her mother, he also secured that the money would stay in his family with his blood children, and not be weaseled out of them through blackmail by the likes people such as Alexis. Even if some of the money went to her children I'm sure she would find a way to get at it through them.
The 1st time I seen this my mouth was like😲, the dad came clean at the end. I clap for Dynasty how they played DC/DD character incorporated with the Carringtons. I have staff who take care of my kids and when i die, it is clear that they will be remembered and if they die before me, then i will definitely make sure that their kids get remembered. I have never understood how people could forget about the ones they owe their well being to. As my grand mother says, you have friends, you have family and you have staff. Family and friends may turn on you but they are not the ones cooking your meals and keeping your house safe and clean. Mistreat your staff and you might want to think twice before taking a single bite of anything they prepare or walking down those stairs.
