Blake apologizes to Dominique for doubting her when she claimed to be his sister through Tom Carrington. Blake decides to make Dominique part of his family and that they joined forces to prevent Alexis from breaking Tom Carrington’s will. To that end, Dominique dropped her law suite against Blake.

Dominique Devereaux was an underrated television legend 🌹🌹
Listen....I love me some Dominique baby...she had that lawsuit locked and loaded on Blake. Diahann Carrol was such as GEM to us when she was living. Her role in this TV series was so needed and impactful to our community. She is dearly missed.....

Good example of half siblings just being civil. He could have chosen the route of a sibling who viewed her as a threat but in that world she was probably his only ally and as independent as she was he also took good care of her too.

And from now on Dominique never had a decent storyline of her own anymore... The character was as burnt as Alexis champagne, wandering between Dynasty and The Colbys... Fulfilled desires and goals reached do not create any drama... Everybody knows that (except Dynasty's writers obviously).
She was brilliantly introduced as a mysterious narcissist diva and end up as a devoted goody sister to Blake... Such a wasted opportunity... (Like so many ither characters)

Why do they almost always refer to their parents with their first names? Like here, Blake says "Tom's will", not "our father's will? And it sounds really strange when Fallon mentions "Blake" not "Father" or "Dad" in more than one scene.
The Carrington family was terribly estranged. I'm not sure if anyone in that family truly got along. They were always out for each other.
Habit, I suppose.
It's theatrical, not real life, and happens all the time in movies and TV. It's so the audience has no doubt whom the character is talking about.

Too bad the ratings were higher when she was on the show. Continue to cringe in a corner, flop.

if it was previously a good series then the original storyline was responsible for that , u are not making any sense here .Maybe a latter story line but not the original .
