System Of A Down - Speaking Out For Artsakh (Band Interview)

- Опубліковано 10 лис 2020
- We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible support of our campaign for the people of Artsakh, and for helping us raise over $600K so far in donations to provide for those in dire need via the Armenia Fund. Because of you, we will be able to help displaced civilians, young and old, who are affected by the hideous war crimes inflicted upon Artsakh by Azerbaijan and Turkey. Please watch this full interview to get a more intimate look and understanding into why we came together to release “Protect The Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz.” To the four of us, it’s extremely important to share these truths with you. It is for our ancestors, our culture, and our nation. Help us spread the message.

All 4 of them sitting there for an interview in 2020 is something else
A great and inspiring show that our personal and creative issues always need to take a step back behind certain larger situations that are above us, and a tragic demonstration of how shadowplay and bluster can lead to true immorality through great injustice!
Sure is
Hope they start putting out albums again
They upgraded a lot too.there were 0 mentions of fellatio this time

These guys are cooler than their music. Huge respect for their research and strong words!
1:03 I don't know why, something about Serj nodding his head at what Daron's saying just warms my heart
I noticed that too! I had the same feeling 💖
Bc they’re frenemies, it’s nice seeing them cordial and agree to make music again...even if only two songs.
I think and may be wrong, that is because they HAD problems about the kind and the style of music to play together. Daron was more for a Rock/Metal way and Serj was more on a melodic/orchestral way. But the problems came out only because of music. They are from the same country, and if so, the music you prefer the most came to second place... This two songs were made NOT because "S.O.A.D. ARE MAKING A NEW ALBUM" but as a powerful message to the whole world about the disaster happened between armenia and turkish. So, no matter what were the problem that divided SOAD, the message and emotions ar always the same, together.
I'm italian, so maybe I could have misspelled something, but I think you got the point 😂 always loved them
Also at 5:12 when he's drifting off but Serj's backs him up :). Sweet boys

Bro, its a surrender. Not a ceasefire.
You know its a surrender when you thought you had Shusha under your control but the next day, you suddenly sign an accord and pledge to move all your troops out of Nagorno Karabagh. That is why people are rioting in Yerevan right now. They know its a surrender.
"Ceasefire" just sounds kinda less humiliating, I know, but the truth is, NK as a de facto entity is OVER. As such, calling it a "ceasefire" is pretty moot.
And in case its a ceasefire, what exactly is the point of making this? Obviously the fighting has stopped, right? But sadly no amount of PR will ever get you the previous status you had on NK, the Minsk group has failed, and Russia directly stepped in, so, spreading the word in Western countries is useless.
The Azerbaijani Army was about to enter Khankendi (Stepanakert) in maybe a couple of days at most. I guess Pashinyan knew what was best for all of ya. Instead, now they're trying to behead him, and present the head to Putin so that he gives them a pat on the back.

I stand with SOAD and I truly respect these guys. They aren't just a rock band, but legends.
Patriotism is needed to force some PEOPLE to kill other PEOPLE. SOAD patriots?

These guys keep demonstrating the world what it means to be an artist. It is not just the craft but the message you're carrying. I hope as many people as possible will join them in raising the voice against injustice and atrocities!
SOAD will always stand for something that is why there music will last forever

On behalf of all Greeks worldwide we, as a whole nation who has suffered the same genocidal fate, are standing with you till the end brothers. Long live Armenia, long live Greece, long live Artsakh, long live Cyprus. 🇦🇲🇬🇷🇨🇾
Thank you for support🇦🇲❤🇬🇷
@@ilonamoore7343 we will fight till our fatherlands meet each other again. Stay strong. We are ready.
You support the country that was officially occupying these lands for 30 years. You support people that brutally killed a whole village and displaced over 800.000 Azerbaijani people from their homes and refused to give the lands back and go for a peaceful resolution. Finally, you support people that lie to you as people were not displaced from Artsah (btw there is no such name or place officially) according to the peace agreement signed by Armenia on 10th of November.
@@nh2083 you are delusional and the worst kind. You arent a student of history. 30 years is not history. Start at 300 or so and then you may have the beginnigs of understanding
