    -----------------------------------------------------------
In order to improve your balance, you MUST improve the way your head, neck, eyes, and limbs function together. So often, the balance centers of our brains are disrupted by long periods of sitting in one place, staring at screens, and not moving our head and eyes in different directions.
Your balance is DIRECTLY tied to your brains ability to focus on and track an object in a way that it can process what is going on around you.
The main reason for most people’s falls is their brain’s lost ability to change directions quickly and smoothly in a way that is doable for the brain.
In this drill called VOR-C (vestibulo-ocular-reflex-cancellation), we will be training your brain to get better at moving your head, eyes, neck, and arms together in a coordinated way whilst tracking an object in space.
This is a VERY FUNCTIONAL drill that you use multiple times a day as a human being.
The better you get at this, the better you be able to:
    - Balance
    - Change direction
    - Prevent falling
    - Feel confident in your body
    - Avoid injury
    - Improve energy
Start slow with small ranges of motion and if you feel dizzy or nauseous, SLOW DOWN & USE SMALLER ranges of motion.
This is a powerful drill and it may take some time for your brain to feel comfortable.

Whether you just received a multiple sclerosis diagnosis or have been previously diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, on a multiple sclerosis drug treatment plan, treating multiple sclerosis through HSCT or through diet changes exercise is extremely important and should also be in your toolbox for dealing with your multiple sclerosis diagnosis. Live your life by design and NOT BY DIAGNOSIS.

I’m the same… I can’t even turn to the right, I immediately get dizzy, feel like vomiting and feel like I’m going to fall over. I just started this exercise yesterday, I’m hoping it will help me.

Wow. I didn’t realize how much breathing with the movement helps.
