Hi Guys, the irony, were just back from 2 weeks around the burtonport area, loved it, along the west coast towards Ards Forest, Glenveagh , Dungloe, Glenties, Ardara....hiking and biking ! Only home last night. Glad you'd a great time, it's a special place that corner of Ireland, often called a Mini Scotland! Loving the videos as always !
Can never wait for Fridays for when your vids are up - so look forward to them - brightens up my week. Your laugh Stew makes me laugh 🤣🤣 among other things obvs n love the comments you make Jane of Stew when he on his own wanders❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. The walks you guys took were magical. Something around every turn to make the hike super enjoyable. The wife and i have been to Ireland twice. We drove around the circumference of the Ireland including the North. It is enjoyable seeing this trip through your eyes. Thank You and be safe. Rob McCann - Belleair Bluffs, Florida USA
Hi guys. The 4 storey derelict building is a typical example of an old corn and grain mill. There are many of them dotted around Ireland. So that's my guess. Some have been converted into apartments, retail outlets, offices. If there was a small river nearby, it probably had a millwheel to one side. Take a look online for old mills in Croom, Co Limerick and Castletownroche, Co Cork.
Just starting watching your channel (life to short recommend your channel) Greetings from Northern Ireland even though we are currently on the road in Spain in our Motorhome . Enjoy your travels Next time come to Northern Ireland
Hi Folks, I'm really enjoying this trip. I haven't left a comment for a while because I've been watching this trip on my phone while I've been in the hospital for 12 weeks. Now home again so will watch them all again on a bigger screen. keep up the good work. many thanks for sharing . ATB
Oh no !!! We are so sorry to hear that - and really hope you are well and truly on the mend. 12 weeks 😳. Funnily enough I said to Stew last week that you hadn't commented (not that I'm stalking you 😂😂) all the best in your recovery ☺️. Jane
Hi Lynne. Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for watching ( as always🥰 ). Yes my mums fine thank you - up and down but generally well considering her advanced age 😳. Jane
Brown sauces, oh NO! It has to be malt vinegar, and lashings if it with your egg, rasher and Irish black pudding morning sandwich. Mmm! I can taste it now😊
No, no, NO! Brown blessed sauce ! What! No, thrice times NO! Work of the Devil👿 Now I have that out of my system, NO! I’m from the North (Penrith) a long time ago now, and for some reason we put malt vinegar on our fried (air grilled breakfast now), and now I splash it on by the gallon. One of the things that was a particular favourite of mine was beef, or chicken dripping, the jelly stuff when it’s gone cold with a lovely little bit of lard, mmm I’m making it sound yummy. I use to love the dripping on a slice of toast with some vinegar and white pepper, 😋 I know it sounds like I’m taking the p!as a bit, but this was true and it wasn’t a poverty food, it was just absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve not had it for yrs😢 Vinegar goes especially well with black and white pudding. Go, on give it a go, it’s lovely
Love black pudding, have you tried Stornaway black pudding? Next time you’re in Scotland 🏴 give it a try 😊 I wonder sometimes why we’ve got a drone, we don’t really travel much in the summer & it’s difficult to get calm days in the winter, it’s frustrating isn’t it. Another interesting episode 😎 Em 💜
@@getawaygeese Clonakilty pudding black and white, cant be beaten. Co Cork is the nicest county in Ireland and Co Mayo is second but to tell the truth there isn't much in it.
Always pays to get decent quality wipers they are not all the same quality oh you can use white spirit on a cloth and run it across the face of blade every now and again it gets the road film tar etc off the blades 😊
I've recently subscribed was told about you both from the other van people I think the guy is a ex policeman sorry im 62 and started writing before I checked who it was who I got your channel from lol sos hope my tips help

Thanks for watching ….. I think you missed the sarcasm Jane loves the Clonakilty veggie pudding we discovered on the last trip but struggling to find it - we’re actually a huge fan of it as you will see in our channel and two series of travelling to Ireland- sorry you misunderstood

Indeed
Clonakilty is my favourite black pudding-delicious..
It’s our favourite as you can tell but struggle to get it in the uk
Great video thank you. That black pudding would be great with some Chef brown sauce or a couple of fried eggs!😅
We love it - shame we can’t easily get it back in the uk

@@getawaygeese Clonakilty pudding black and white, cant be beaten. Co Cork is the nicest county in Ireland and Co Mayo is second but to tell the truth there isn't much in it.
Did you know clonality black pudding was a recipe made by Michael Collins grandmother
No I didn’t know that - we went to the factory and went on the tour
Very interesting connection
Always pays to get decent quality wipers they are not all the same quality oh you can use white spirit on a cloth and run it across the face of blade every now and again it gets the road film tar etc off the blades 😊
Yep a good tip should of done that before we left but they lasted 30000 - think these were Bosch but maybe wrong
Also check whether boshe is really boshe as some brand names have been sold and the quality is no longer there 😕
I've recently subscribed was told about you both from the other van people I think the guy is a ex policeman sorry im 62 and started writing before I checked who it was who I got your channel from lol sos hope my tips help
