  • One Year with MBC | My Update
It’s been a year since my metastatic breast cancer (MBC) diagnosis, and I wanted to share an update on my journey. In this short video, I’ll do a quick recap, talk about where I am now, what treatments I’m on, what lifestyle changes I’ve made and how I’m feeling.
    Thanks for being here 🫶

Ruth Heidrich is my hero. She had metastatic breast cancer to her bones in her 40s. She's now in her 80s (I think 88). She's on YT. She went on to compete in Iron Man in Hawaii. Still competes in her 80s! (I think cycling). She a cutie. My husband is fighting stage 4 cancer now. God bless you. Keep on inspiring!

Hi there… so happy to hear things are well, I’m right here with you on Kisqali and Letrozole for 10 months now, also doing well… but yes I agree, it’s very frustrating to hear when people don’t survive this disease. But Jesus, I put my hope in Him, and every time a negative thought comes I take it captive and make it yes to Jesus, the one who was, and is and is to come. There is hope sister, not in this world, in Jesus. I pray Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you. 🙏

I was diagnosed with BC 12/23. Lumpectomy and 20 rounds of radiation. On tamoxifen now. Oncotype score of 8. Your story is one I follow closely because it’s so similar to mine. When I was diagnosed I started doing keto. Looked and felt great. I’ve since learned that my breast cancer type (ILC) is different and doesn’t use glucose primarily but relies mainly on fats and some protein. Ugh. I have had such a hard time knowing what to eat. I’ve finally settled on a low glutamate Mediterranean diet. We do what we feel most comfortable with I guess. The fear will always be there. Thanks for posting these videos. I’m glad you are well.
