I feel like the youngest one here. I’m coming up on my six month loc journey. I started with two strand twists. I’m loving the journey I’m on. I wished I started this sooner. ☺️
I say that all the time. I'm 20 months in and be super impatient wanting my locs to be longer. I recently looked back at my older pictures and realized my hair has grown so much. Same as she said in the video pleaseee enjoy the stage you are in because it is going to come and go very fast. I can't believe I am literally about to be 2 years in the game.
Congratulations on 5 years sis! 🥳🥳 Your locs are soo beautiful, I’ve been following you since day 1 and the growth is realll 🤩 🔥 I’m coming up on 4 years right behind you 😊💁🏾♀️
Congratulations on your five year loc journey!🥳🎉🎈🎊 Wow, the time does go by really fast. I remember your baby locs on your tapered cut and thinking they were so cute. Here we are five years later and your growth is amazing! Your locs are absolutely beautiful!❤️❤️❤️ I started my loc journey 10/1/2019, and the time has gone by fast for me as well. I love the loc’d life! ❤️❤️❤️
I started my locs in 2019, around the time I started following your channel. And Morgan, you coached me through the most difficult periods of being loc'd. Thank you! A year and some time later, I started having so many issues with dandruff in my locs and it became a nightmare. So I combed them all out and will be starting over sometime this year.
Lovely update!! I've been loc'd 15.5 years. 12 years journey number one. Took a 30 minute loc break (🤣) to cut that set, wash, and install baby locs. Now at 3.5 years with this journey.
I cut my locs April 2021 after growing them for 9 years. I just started my second set on Christmas Day 2021. So excited for the new journey! I’ve watched your videos over the years and grateful that you’ve shared this update. ✨
Chile when you turned around and revealed that length you gave me LIFE! I am 4 years in this year and I can't WAIT to reach that length at some point. You are such an inspiration and I love your sweet and humble personality. You are beautiful inside and out! There is no doubt in my mind that we would be friends if I knew you in person. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Pleeeeeeeezzzz don't ever chop them off....:)
Accumatively I’ve had locs for like 6 years😅 I’ve had 4 sets of locs lol and this set I have now will be three years in April❤️ and girl, this is the longest my locs have gotten and no one told me how much these get in drinks and food
October 5 was my 2 year locaversary!! I've been in the game since 2019!! This'll has been the best hair decision I've ever made!!! Thank you for all your loc gems. I've been following you since I started my journey!!
I am on my 11 month loc journey and this is the best decision I have ever made!! By the way I have been looking for some natural Haitian black castor oil!! I just ordered TWO BOTTLES !! I suffer from a little bit of thinning and I hope this works!! Thanks SIS 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
Palma Christi! I swear by it! You can use it for your body face and hair my family brings it from Haiti but there's a lot of cool little Haitian shops all over Florida that sells it. I have been using that for years 😁 I love that you mentioned this I got my whole family in the states using it now 🖤 love the content!
I’ve been rockin’ with you since I started my journey officially 3 years ago this January and you were 2 years in. Your locs have flourished! I love them, they look so healthy! I haven’t done my 3 year update cause my locs have gotten long and a lot to handle…so I’m probably pushing my 3 year update back a bit lol. Thanks for the update!
I’m 20 months in and I’m loving the journey. My only complaint right now ( and it’s not really a complaint just an observation) is my hair is still super frizzy on the ends, but I know that’s a very important part of the process. I’m still loving it tho and I’m trusting the process completely. Happy 5 years to you!!!
I'm 20 months toooooo!! We are 4 months away girl. My hair is not frizzy, I honestly wish it was. My hair is super kinky and it locd quick as heck which made it take form quickly as well. Either way I love this journey so much.
@@sydlaw2941 yahhh congratulations. We’re almost there. 2 years May 13th. I have very soft hair. So the locking process has been a little slow but I still love it. I wish my hair would just lock up already lol. I’m loving this journey so much.
i'm 13 months loc'ed and my hair is in that short phase lol she's cute tho !! i have loved every single second of my journey, even when my starter locs were lookin crazy 😂
Just like with beautician. You have some that are great at cutting or color or silk press. Just because they are a professional does not mean they are great at coloring. Your locks are beautiful Sis
So I'm 19 months locd and I was looking for 19 months loc updates 3c hair and your old video came up...I saw you talk about your roots growing out of your loc and having to retwist every 2/3 weeks...I was gonna comment like you might want to be careful with retwisting too often then realized how old the video was lol!! Your locs are so beautiful!!! Did you end up retwisting that often?
Hey girl lol yess I definitely switched it up from then! Each phase of my hair I kinda just tried to listen to it, currently I’m retwisting about every month
Hola Morgan. So I'm a very active person and i wash my hair every 2-3 months. I skate, weightlift, run, swimming , etc. Im currently using this Haitian black castor oil that's lavender scented from kreyol essence because i do sweat alot and my hair doesnt smell between washes. So will my hair smell bwtn washes while using your cousins castor oil given the fact im very active. cuz i will definitely give it a shot
Hello Joshua, I’m Sindy her cousin. Thank you for your question 😊. your hair will not smell at all because it’s a natural oil and once you put it in your scalp it will penetrate in there and there will not be a lingering smell in between your washes. Hope this helps.
Wow your locs grown so much!! I can only imagine how long your locs would at 10 years if you don't cut them they'll probably be at your thighs or even knees😱
OMG you are CUTE!! LOVE LOVE LOVE your presentation and sense of humor! Love the way you tell your stories! And girl... there are no words to describe how I feel about your locs. I'm three months in and totally cannot envision where I'll be in 5 years. I gotta trust the process! Congratulations!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
