This Batman is literally a predator. And a ferocious one for sure! Those primal screams and the disgusted-cold look on his eyes perfectly captures and delivers the anger that he is containing inside of him against the others. Hands down the most realistic Batman ever - especially in terms of the inner mechanisms of a traumatic human being.
No he's not Catwoman is that's why he's after him
@@DeshawnDavis-pl1gx I literally don´t understand what you mean
Honestly, I really like this take and the fact he’s a much younger Batman than what we have had for so long, seeing him as a younger more flawed character with pent up rage and hatred
I agree with your comment. Battinsons definitely the most accurate Batman to the comics in terms of character alongside Bales (PARTIALLY), but Micheal Keatons actually the most realistic and human Batman. Battinson took a bomb to the face and Bales gadgets were pretty comic booky. Keatons Batman was literally just a dude in a Batsuit with some training and had claustrophobia.
Yeah totally realistic bud💀
Batman launching out of the smoke like a man possessed is one of my favorite moments in the film for sure
I actually cheered inside when I saw it at the cinema, great scene
Love the sound effect when he jumped out, giving the horror element from a crimals perspective
I love how that one guy is shooting him in the chest 3x and Batman just gives him the death stare 😂
Just 2 times, dude
Yes assault rifle doesn't stop but shot gun knocks him back lol ok
@@spectrexr1 guess you're the kina guy who fall far with just a punch rather than a double palm push

@@spectrexr1 understandable have a great day
Watching this in theaters, and even now, I just go "Yeah, now that's Batman"
More than bale man. Like yeah his Batman performance is great. But Pattinson is literally Batman. His Bruce Wayne was great but I want more out of that part of the role.
@@milesshirley6251one thing I like about Pattinson’s Batman more than Bales, is Pattinsons Batman is more comic book accurate.
BvS warehouse scene is better
@@JohnDavidSullivanYea it was a better fight scene in terms of actual choreography, but at the end of the Day I personally can’t enjoy it. I understand Zack Snyder wasn’t necessarily trying to do a comic accurate Batman, but it’s just not my personal taste to have him murder people.
@brunosouza2647 he’s not experienced enough yet, bale was the same way in his first movie.
I absolutely loved this whole scene! Specially the epic entrance
Yeah, I was just amazed by the movie and then that f'ing entrance happened and I was absolutely in love lol. The Batman 2 is the only superhero film I'm looking forward to anymore. Reeves gets it. I'm not as sold on the Joker - what little we've seen in that deleted scene - BUT I trust Reeves after this one.
my favourite scene, batman taking drugs😅😅
@@onLinkageit s norepinephrine, our body produces it naturally , it s a neurotransmitter
Yeah but the only thing i didn't quite understand is how did he plant the bombs?
Did he manually plant each bomb around the roof then climbed higher to make this cool badass entrance?
@@lagrotteauxbiblosmagiques5596 so it's testosterone... "our body produces it naturally" a reply every IG trt/steroids abuser gives. Something being secreted by a human body is not the same as being "good" to inject extra. Our bodies produce miniscule amounts of certain substances for a reason. I don't even have anything against that scene - just your silly reasoning.
For once, we don't get a showdown with the villain themselves. A nice change.
Don'tcha mean a REAL change?
He’ll fight Riddler in the end of Part II, but I doubt that movies ever going to come out now. And just for the record we rarely get any showdowns with the main villain in comic book movies anymore and it’s actually complete bullshit. Guardians 3 was a perfect example of that. I was expecting The High Evolutionary to trash the entire Guardians team but he didn’t. He was just basically shot to death. 💀

It was only delayed to 2026 last I checked.
@@YoGibran Honestly bro? You want my two cents on this topic?

Listening to his battle grunts, Pattinson's Batman sounds so feral and it matches his intensity so well
Are those girlish moans supposed to be scary and sound wild? hahaha My dog's snoring is scarier than this guy.
I like how his entrance felt like straight out of an animated Batman film.
Emm, no, not at all. A Real Batman would enter stealthily and take advantage of the element of surprise to take down his enemies. This moment insults what Batman is like.

"He's going for his shotgun, but I don't care about my own life"
Brilliant. It’s odd how villains always have a never ending supply of henchmen, but they found a way to make realistic extremists gather under one inspirational psycho. I see forums where incels revere mass shooters and refer to them as great men
The funniest part to me is that these guys were clearly NOT ready for Batman. Not a one of them was a fighter.

Real fringe types
Well, to be fair, mooks basically always hav3 him outnumbered
Very, Well, to be fair, like danic_c and FranciscoPetrucioJunior, Safety lines are pretty gosh darn efficient at being safe
Considering how deadly sharp freshly-broken glass is, as cool as that entrance was, there were definitely people in that crowd that died or lost limbs.
Nah. Everyone ducked and dodged, plus most of the glass fell on the platforms overlooking the stadium and landed on the riddler goons who were all wearing protective gear. Also they confirmed that Batman DOESN’T KILL in this movie, directly or indirectly, Bruce didn’t cross the line.
I know many people will say that if Batman exits and did have a no-killing rule he would still kill someone. But there have been people who stopped others without killing in real life and you can look no further than Desmond Doss. A WWII Combat Medic who saved the lives of hundreds of his fellow soldiers and enemies without firing a gun or taking a single life.

@@Stormertheboy He plays well what he is given to play. 'Problem' is instead of playboy/philanthropist they went with shut-in.
This Batman movie was better than both justice league movies and Batman v Superman
I always knew that Rob Pattinson was going to succeed playing Batman's role and he nailed it. As a result, Pattinson amazed me as much the entire cast and especially, Paul Dano, who became the movie's star with his Riddler's performance although he was the supporting actor.
Batman just destroys the skull of some guy and the outro plays like nothing happened
😂😂 no lie I read this as it happened I burst out laughing
The mobility and movement of this Batman is just so perfect, even tho he is inexperienced, uncontrolled and fuelled by anger, there is still balance and perfect mobility within his chaos. I mean look at that movement oh my
No joke: I honestly thought the Riddler was going to win this, and then the follow up movies would focus on Batman trying to keep Gotham sane.
well it's not like batman won yk, the city has fallen apart and it's a no-man's land now with every villain wanting to do a power grab. So the riddler has kind of won, and lets say he's lost, he has only lost this battle, but his story is not over...
0:06 the dramatic entrance is on point.
That dude hitting him with a sniper bullet and pattinsons reaction....dude is definitely a batman in my book
I love this Vigilante Batman, makes it seem so realistic, even if I know it’s not 😂
Like Micheal Keaton realistic?
3:02 when you have taco bell
I can’t be the only one who still thinks the Batman theme in this movie sounds like vaders. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I love the music. It just reminds me a lot of vaders theme.
yea it was based off the imperial march
The Theme was based mostly on Marche Funebre
Which was also an inspiration to John Williams to compose the Imperial March.
It reminds me of Christmas for some reason
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who found the theme similar
Gives me die hard vibes dude
That last goon took a dozen hits to the face. I recall joking with my bros in the theater about his head being reduced to a drawing after that, like something out of Hot Shots 2. 😂
Part II will have a chicken launcher in the Batmobile
This scene perfectly combines the efficiency of Nolan’s Batman taking out The Joker’s goons and the SWAT team in The Dark Knight with the stylish brutality of Snyder’s Batman in the BvS warehouse scene. Matt Reeves really proves that both versions are valid and can be done in the same movie.
To me, this fight is the best since "The Dark Knight"and the epic battle with Batman saving the hostages, stopping the cops from murdering innocents and stopping the Joker.
the gunshot sound effects in this scene just have this pop to them that makes the whole fight more immersive
I think this version of batman is very interesting. A dude with armor meaning body shots mean nothing with martial arts skills to overwhelm you and also still very fast and can knock you out cold in seconds if you dont have like 2 guys behind him and he still takes them out... Very terrifying
Riddler's plan makes perfect sense to me. First, he unmasked Gotham's corruption, then flooded the city with the intent to kill its citizens (even innocent civilians.) The few that made it to Gotham Square Garden would then be picked off by gunmen. In Riddler's mind, the city was beyond redemption. His thinking, those who weren't his Marks were better off dead, as he believed they were, ultimately, the ones who made Gotham bad. Get rid of the mayor, the DA, the Commissioner, and Falcone, and what's left. More people to, possibly, keep the cycle going. That's what separates a hero from a villain. Heroes are trying to make the world a better place and break the cycle of corruption. Villains? They'd rather burn it to the ground and urinate on the ashes.
I love how Batman almost broke is one rule when Catwoman/Selina was almost murdered. It shows just how much he’s in love with her. They’re the best soulmates in all of fiction. DC has way better romance stories than Marvel.
Cap
And all he did was just pick him over and over 😂
Pepperony, Peter x gamora, Wanda Vision, Peter x mj. What are the fuck you barking?

@@gamblorrrI’m pretty sure Matt Reeves said it was just adrenaline, but if it was venom that would be so cool mannnn 😭
3:11 Reminds me of that one Batfleck scene in the warehouse
This is one of if not the Best Final Fights in Movie History and that Badass Entrance for Batman is the Highlight of this.
Batman went rogue at the end i love it
The only problem with that scene, in my opinion, is that the criminal was only lightly hurt in the end, he should have been badly hurt; to show how angry Bruce was, and that he nearly broke his rule. But so, it makes it look like he was in no danger, and Batmans punches were weak.
There's a inmovie explanation for it. The Riddlers Militia are copycats of Batman. This version while his suit is impressive, it wasn't made by Waynetech. He hasn't even been there in months.
He cobbled together a suit immune to gunfire out of military surplus equipment and the milita followed in suit.
Bro knew he was screwed when his rifle jammed
1:10 I didn't notice until this very moment that Batman actually gets shot in the head but the bullet ricocheted. That's cool af. 👀 I wonder how many details I missed.
I'll NEVER forget seeing this film in IMAX on opening night. When Batman comes crashing down and the theme starts to kick in and blare loudly the whole theater erupted into applause and cheering! Everyone had a big dumb grin on their face, me included. This was such a great film 💯❤️
This scene was amazing. He instantly goes from a guy beating up thugs to this larger than life creature dropping from the roof like a meteor
How'd The Riddler get his 4chan buddies to actually show up?
Manipulation.
in this universe 4chan users actually go through with their beliefs
Even with a bulletproof vest, his rib cage should be dust.
It's not just a common bullet-proof vest i think more advanced than that to absoo all those vibrabions and impact
That scene was dope.
One guy in a store steals candy. 2 minutes later 3:11
The character arc for Batman in this film is superb! He’s not just beating up these thugs, he’s saving people!
Oddly one if my favorite movies, i love how they made Riddler into a Zodiac killer type of person, and it felt threatebing
God, I LOVE Batman’s ‘look, as long as i dont do the final blow, its not my fault’ philosophy on murder
1:45 this soundtrack ... holy shit 🤩🤩🤩
Damn man those punches looked powerful, he threw 12 of those things at that poor guys face.
I got chills when the theme song started playing
When Batman pulled out that green stuff did anyone else think of Venom?
You mean bane?
@@tadoegloden332 the stuff he uses yeah
I love how this Batman really takes that "I'm not gonna kill you, but i won't save you either..." approach and just lets all the goons kill each other lol.
Remember, Batman doesn't kill...but he does leave them paralyzed from the waist down.
My only complain about this movie is that the fight scenes were too short and felt unsatisfying.Every fight scene in this movie doesn't exceed the 2 min mark. This is the last fight scene and it is only about 3:34 minutes.I mean c'mon it's not a regular person it's The batman..Matt Reeves needs to make longer fight scenes for the sequel.
Ra al ghouls liquid scene was amazing nobody even caught that part.
I screamed when he jumped through the roof in the theatre man can't wait for Batman 2
Did Batman just kill that guy with the other guy's rife!??😢😂😂 0:24
No they shot each other
Possibly. You see the guy who gets shot goes limp when he dangles there.
He also sets up a situation for two of the milita to shoot each other.
They had armour so no
Batman gets hit with wayy too much Gunfire , hopefully next movie he’s able to be Faster and Matt reeves does the focus of shots a lil better
The focus of shots like the gunfire or the focus of the camera? Because the camera is out of focus on purpose. Artistic intent and all that
I like that he can take it. The alternative is bad guys who either never use their guns which is stupid or they have really bad stormtrooper aim, which is also stupid. I think him taking the shots to a point is a good compromise and makes for dynamic action scenes rather than the reality of Batman running away and hiding behind something all the time lol
@@chriswyatt9869 nah I understand about the storm trooper aim for sure. But There was several points in the Movies where he was just tanking and not even trying to avoid gun fire. It could be like the shows or comics where he evades smoothly if they do it right
@@AvatarTrev6You do realise that it's to do with Batman's mental state, right? He doesn't care about dying at this point, which makes him reckless
The bat sound at 1:39 was *chef's kiss*
0:05 the theater went wild
Oh my lord how many bullets is this Batman taking 😳 imagine being a villain your hearing gunshots after gunshots and this mf still walking
While another level of scary but he’s my sec favorite after Batfleck
They were slowing him down also.
1:51 god i can't stop laughing at this
"What if he woulda shot ya in the face?"
How tf is this movie so good
1: it uses practical effects more than CGI; most movies nowadays heavily rely on CGI other than practical to speed things up, but without the use of practical effects then it doesn't really look cool
2: DC decided to stop being like Marvel and actually focus on something original
3: They made sure to use their time wisely and gave the people working on it more time because studios mostly don't give the people working on the project enough time nowadays
4. Matt Reeves
:) This is one of the biggest reasons, if not the biggest. He's one of the best directors working today.
Riddler should thank God that Gordon arrived when he did or Bruce as Batman would have killed him despite his one rule.
It wasn't Riddler. It was one of his goons.
You think this riddler goon is still alive after those 13 batman angry punches?
"Batman's got some green juice! It gives him a real good boost!" - Ryan George. Literally what is the point of that.
Remember when this was the most talked about Batman movie. God it’s so forgotten now even tho it’s like 2 years old
I wonder when the exact point is that we all just accepted that Bats' suit was bulletproof. I mean I know they've been explicit about it being armor for a while, I'm just saying, it didn't used to be- but at some point we just collectively realized that it was preposterous for him to dodge every shot from an army of gunmen, and it was normal and expected for every major villain to have a PMC on tap. There's really no version of Batman that makes sense in the modern day that isn't bulletproof.
I like it personally just because it makes it more realistic, though, I think I’d prefer it if it was more similar to the DD suit from the live action show. Have it be bullet proof with little gaps of armor that protects from blades etc around the bullet proof parts. I think in DD it’s mostly not bullet proof with little bits that are, it should be reversed for Batman in my opinion. Mostly bullet proof, tiny gaps here and there that aren’t (for mobility is the reason typically). Like, not able to just walk through two point black machine guns like Iron Man, or take a point blank shotgun to the body. I want Batman to have to greatly consider his movements and positioning against the bad guys.
This is the most realistic batman

That was no ordinary adrenaline shot, I’m willing to bet that’s a hidden Venom Easter egg…it would be kinda interesting if he was hooked on venom for the sequel
Interesting insight .. can you please elaborate your theory ..
Wasn't a HUGE fan of this flick, but goddamn do I love it whenever Batman drops in to start and finish it.
The beat just slaps
This scene is better than any final battle in a Snyder movie
Better than the warehouse fight?
is much better, as the entire film is good and not a set of cool scenes
I dunno about that, I got a place in my heart for Superman vs Zod
0:53 insert bowling pins sound effect
I didn’t realize this before but at 0:05 when he jumps down into the building he spreads his wings out to slow his fall and it ends up giving him that giant bat silhouette which is awesome, and I’m pretty sure he did it to slow his descent a bit like a parachute or like the usual gliding gimmick
I absolutely fawned over this scene in theaters, shit was fucking cool!
Did anyone else get the feeling when the thug was pointing the shotgun at Batman's head that Batman wanted and was ready to die right there.
He finally overcame his fear of heights. Dw yall, his fight scenes get much better in the sequels
Watching this at the movie theater three times and at home, I still say “HELL YEEEAAAHH LETS GOOOOO BATMAN!!!”😂😂😂😎😎😎😎👍
Well, of course, without the immortal and utterly annoying cliché "saving at the last moment from friend/enemy". It is impossible for Batman to defeat everyone, fighting for his life and looking for a way out after mistakes.
I wonder how long it took the costume department to make so many Riddler look alike fits.

This is how you do Batman "in the real world". Take notes Zach my boy!
We've already has the real world Batman. We need a comic book Batman.
@@BSmitty4rm8Fitty I think this is way more in line with what you could expect from a comic book than other movies we’ve gotten in the past tbh. The Dark Knight trilogy was more of a crime thriller series featuring batman, and the last two movies focused more on the villains in broad daylight than they did on Batman trying to stop them. I feel like Robert Pattinson is the best comic book Batman we’ve gotten so far. The city looks gross and truly crime-ridden, the mystery is pretty immersive and comic-corny in the best way, and he even has those monologues at the start and end that sound like something ripped straight from the pages of Batman Year One. My main complaint is that Bruce Wayne himself is underdeveloped and he is too soft-spoken the entire movie, but the Batman stuff checks all my boxes :)
Snyder's batman was never supposed to be realistic so dumbass comment
@@demarionegron1976 I agree with you overall. I think however even the Bruce Wayne is accurate to how he has been in the last 15 years or so in comics. He is much more brooding and quiet overall and no longer the "billionaire playboy". I do enjoy the classic Bruce Wayne more but it is what it is.
