YAYYYY FINALLYYYY thanks Neil! Okay, 4 things:
- The old Rock logo is way better
- The old Knighthawks logo is way better
- The Rush usually don't have "Lacrosse Club" in their logo
- The Seals is a reference to the Navy base in SD

The knighthawks and the wings previous logos they used in the 2000’s we’re top notch, unfortunately both teams moved from their cities but came back as expansion teams and changed their logos
There are eyes in it as well
Looking at this in 2022, the Vancouver Warriors logo gave me Vegas Golden Knight tertiary patch vibes 🤣

Vancouver logo like a car logo, Philadelphia like a DC hero logo.
The Black Wolves are partially owned by the Mohegan tribe in Connecticut (and play at Mohegan Sun Arena), so the feathers are a great nod to that heritage.
Did you notice the mammoth tusk formed a c for Colorado? Just makes that logo look even better.

Calgary no longer has red in logo
I didn't think the NLL was still going! I remember watching a few games on Eurosport 2 a few years back, indoor lacrosse is just as physical as hockey, if not more so. Makes me wish there was a proper national league in the UK, either indoors or outdoors.
My faves were the Vancouver Warriors, the New York Riptide, the San Diego Seals, and the Philadelphia Wings. The Rock logo looks like the maple leaf has melted, and I think the Black Wolves logo could be purloined by Wolverhampton Wanderers at some future point - they seem to share the same colours of orange and black.
The NLL is carried on TSN (for Canada and online in Canada,) And ESPNU and ESPN+ (online) everywhere else in the World.

Great video.... a few critiques:.. Rochester relocated to Halifax to form the Thunderbirds. They were named the thunderbirds to recognize naitive American history of the sport/region. The leauge then re expanded into Rochester to form the “new knighthawks. Same team, same place, different branding, different players. Old knighthawks logo was ELITE. There was an actual hawk, new knighthawks have a secondary hawk logo that’s... meh... and the philly wings logo does form a bird/winged creature (focus on red to see it)

Some fun facts. The Halifax Tbirds used to be the Rochester Khawks. The owner of the Khawks moved the team to Halifax they are brand new team. That's probably why you never heard of them. Why are the Khawks still a team? Because the owner of the Buffalo Bandits bought the name and trademark, and put in an expansion bid. It was granted even though it breaks a few league ownership rules. Basically the Tbirds have all the records and history of the Khawks, and the current Khawks the fans in Rochester just get to pretend it's the same team which shouldn't be hard to do co sidering there was no gap in between the two's existence. Now the Bandits and Khawks have been rivals for ever because Rochester is a short drive from Buffalo. They are basically sister cities. That's why our AHL team is there. Now I don't know how there is no conflict of interest owning two teams in the same league, but owning 2 division rivals......welp we will see how this turns out. The Pegulas (who also own the Sabres, Bills, Rochester Americans, Beauts (NWHL), and now the KnightHawks. PS the Bandits one the championship their inaugural year in 1992, then again in 93. They have 10 division titles, including 2019. They are more often than not battling for the top spot in the league. Especially in these last few seasons.....I also like the Mammoth, spectacular logo.
Ys the New England Wolf logo is cool as hell but there are no wolves in New England. Would be amazing for a number of other states though!!!

Vancouver - looks like an MLS or canadian Premiere logo - but it does look cool as hell. not as destinguished as many lecross franchise names, as many franchises just by name i would guess is Lecrosse pro franchise!!

The old Knighthawks logo was certainly better than the current one. Speaking of the old Knighthawks: They moved to Halifax to become the Thunderbirds.
Hey Neil if you want to go see a fun NLL game go see a Buffalo Bandits game. Tickets are really cheap, and they interact with the fans. Its a 5 star game

Yeah in Fredericton, NB. Halifax is roughly 4 hours away. Buffalo is around 18.

I’m a fan of the outdoor sport more but the 2 things I appreciate aside from some of the cool logos and the leagues growth and what Sakiewicz has done since he became Commissioner, is the preparation of American players going into the PLL and allowing those players to participate in both leagues.

The franchise went to Halifax so this season they had to rebrand. I agree it’s very lacking compared to what it was.

Rochester has a baseball team called the Redwings that has a somewhat similar logo to the one you described for the Knighthawks.
The Rock logo is taken from. The Molson Canadian Rocks Concert series. Molson owns the team and just modified, the concert logo into the team logo. Which is lazy IMO

blue and yellow are not primary colors, rather yellow and purple, blue and orange are complementary colors.

I dont think anyone even cares about Lacrosse outside of
North American and not many would even know there is much a Sport in the U.K we get a little bit of it on ESPN but I dought the viewing figures are all the great as no one out side of North America will understand it.
