Hi Everyone. I would really appreciate your feedback regards me doing more of these videos in the future. This one was quite simple, but I would do more complex ones. Thanks.
Thank you Jeff. I love your videos which you present in such a friendly and encouraging way. It is amazing to see what can be achieved when you step outside your comfort zone and very gratifying to be able to find a use for scraps. Would love to see you do something with a landscape or seascape theme.
Yes, I would like to see more wall art. I really enjoyed watching your process. I like the vibrancy of the finished piece. Can you please tell what kiln you are using? I would like to upgrade from the tiny one I have.
Hi Lisa. I have 2 Paragon kilns. One is the 16CS (clam shell) and the other a Fusion 14. Also have a small one for jewellery and the occasional small glass piece. Can't afford a bigger one, but these are great for what I do.
I can understand your problem with the spoon. What I did was find a couple really cheap ones at the dollar store. Actually, flimsy soup spoons work the best. I put the spoon bowl in a vise and clamped down on it till the bowl bent into a pronounced 'U'. It fits in any frit jar and because the sides are much higher than a conventional spoon, I tend to have much more control. They get used all the time.
I like this one, it is my level, not too high. I think you put frit on there in the gaps t so you wouldn't have bubbles and to bring it up to 6 mm is that right?
Hi Karen. Not really worried about 6 mm. Mainly all just decoration. That was 4 mm from memory, but I have made these with 3 mm. Just means that a full fuse will pull in edges, so I usually don't fuse too high or too long.
Love it! It was nice to see your creative process, before you grabbed the vitro graph jar again, I was thinking it needs a bit more there….. lol great minds think alike❣️
Great piece, looks a bit like a Kandinsky painting, do you know what things are going to look like before they get fused? nothing I have ever done comes out exactly as I thought, sometimes better sometimes worse but never how I planned or imagined
Hi Paul. Yes, very much abstract, but Kandinsky is much much better. I love abstract and do some abstract acrylics on another channel, but haven't uploaded anything for ages. Way too long. To busy with this channel. Will try to do more with the glass though. Have an idea with some pieces, but sometimes the interaction in the colours are not as I expect. I agree though, rarely comes out how I envisage. Some better, some not so good, but all interesting. No such thing as a failure. Glass is too costly. 😁
This is a great video; thanks for sharing! You make it look so easy. Love to see your use of scrap to make such a lovely piece of art! Would love to hear about how you might light it in the background, besides being interested in framing ideas. Thanks again.
Hi Fraidac. I'll probably place it on my mantle on a glass stand I'll make. The wall behind is reasonably light in colour. Then I might get one of those little LED lights to place behind. Don't have the cash to buy any spotlights or anything else. But should be good. I'll try to show it once done.
Hi Miriam. I've never made a wall bracket, but do have a couple of ideas I'll try sometime. Have made stands for holding it vertically and will show one of those in a video.

I love this piece. I’m a big fan of controlled chaos! The busier, the better I say!!! ❤
Thanks Twylah.
It’s not silly at all and I love this piece.
Thank you.

Hi Harper. 🙃 Mmm...not sure how artistic I am like that. But someday I should try. 😄
Stop self depresificating! What you are doing is beautiful!
Hi Suzanna. Just ignore me. I'm my own worst critic, according to Ann. 😁 That's me.
Yes, please make more of these. I loved watching your creative process!
Thank you Kristen.
Mr Jeff, watching u make this piece was very relaxing. i tend to over do , add too much glass, and get a mudd look! looks bright and cheerful
Hi Elaine. Thanks for that. Nice to know it helps.

That sounds like a great idea. I'll look for one of those and give it a go. Thank you for that.
Love your videos and easy to follow keep up the good work and thank you.
Hi Susan. Thanks for your comment. So glad they help.
Jeff nice video. Thank you for this video.
You are very welcome
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO. yOU HAVE SPARKED A DESIRE TO MOVE MORE TOWARDS THE WALL ART SIDE OF FUSION AND ALSO INTERESTED YOUR STAND DEA.
Hi PC. Fantastic. If you want to get really freely creative I think it's a great medium. And I'll do the stand video at some time as well.

Lots of fun, great colours. Love to see the stand you make for this project ! Thank you for sharing how easy it can be to create a fun project. 🙏🏻😊
Hi Ev. They are fun, and one of my favourite type of projects. My inner artist at work. Wil cover the stand sometime.
Like it when you just let go and create
It is a scary thing to do. I question myself, just like a lot of artists I suppose.
I really enjoyed this video. It has given me so many ideas of what I could do with my scrap and I have lots of it!
Hi Judy. That's fantastic. Glad to help.

Did you ever make a stand for this piece? I really love the colors.
Hi Marcia. Sorry, not yet. It curren tly sits on a piece of timber leaning against a support. I must do it.
Thanks for sharing! I really want to see how you will make a stand for this beautiful piece of glass😊
Hi Anja. I'll put that video on my list for sure. 👍

Tempting! I wonder what compressing would do?
Hi Rosalind. Never tried compressing. Sounds like a project. 👍
Liking it. Would love tot learn about the wall stands.
