I have the privilege to pull some of my own canes from a friend’s vitrigraph kiln. Towards the end of pulling cane, the canes are hollow inside. My friend tells me I can not fuse those canes unless I fill them with stringers. In your video, you’re cutting those hollows or tubes and full fusing them as is. I’m glad I saved those tubes and excited to use them in future projects. I learn so much from your videos and happy to see you back🥳
As always, very interesting to see you in action producing such attractive pieces. (I will be in contact during the next week or two regarding some coasters.)
Thank you for the show and tell regarding your glass art, Beautiful colors! Looks like springtime aquamarine water. Perhaps a summer, fall and winter color scheme as time passes?
As you say, limitless design opportunities limited just by your own imagination. Can't recall if it was rough or smooth side up, think it was rough. Only difference will be more bubbles or less bubbles.
Hello, am so glad to have come across your videos. You’re so clear in your explanations and demonstration.- thank you. May I ask what glue you used to hold the glass tubes in place? Is it a specific one that can take high temperatures? Or will all glues be useable ? Thank you.
We use this from Bullseye. Burns off in firing and leaves no residue warm-glass.co.uk/bullseye-glastac-fusing-glue-p-2276.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw1K-zBhBIEiwAWeCOFxA9G4OIePvEggg_8VFT-YqpXb-vaWrPwPGSQGSVc3lY7nXqhqO69xoCVRQQAvD_BwE
I’m brand new at doing this and I love your videos. I lack artistic ideas but I’m looking and learning for inspiration everywhere.
You can do it!
Nice to see you back on UA-cam

Hi Carol, yes indeed you can use any offcuts / scraps of glass so long as it's the same COE. There is no wastage in glass fusing. Thanks for watching.
So glad you are back. Your videos are awesome.
Thank you so much!
Ditto from Monterey Ca.
