Great video! I thank myself for never giving up even when it was very hard I kept pushing through until I made it out. My advice is that If you do your own investing, have you ever thought whether you should turn things over to a financial advisor? If you have significant assets, you have probably felt anxiety when making choices with your money. Perhaps you sensed that you might make better investing decisions if you knew just a little more and could invest without emotion. If this is the case, consulting a financial advisor makes perfect sense.

You’re right! Working with a financial advisor will genuinely set you up for success in life. I’m delighted I was able to hire a financial advisor named John Desmond Heppolette, earlier this year. Because while others were grumbling about the downturn in the financial markets due to the state of the economy, I was busy learning from him and eventually made over seven figures in the first quarter of the year.

John Desmond Heppolette has been a significant step in my financial life journey, providing valuable knowledge, actionable advice, and motivational content. His supportive community has boosted my confidence, work engagement and has inspired me to strive for excellence. His assistance is a secret weapon for great financial growth, and his online presence is a must-see for anyone looking to improve their financial situation.

John Desmond Heppolette, really seem to know this stuff. I found his web-page when I made a google search of his full names, read through his resume, educational background, qualifications and it was really impressive. I left him a note and booked a call session with him..

The tricky part is finding someone you admire and then making yourself useful to them in order to get your foot in the door. Observe them and what they struggle with or where they could expand themselves through you. Offer your help in a specific way, not a vague way, and then take initiative to show them you're serious. Never ever approach someone empty handed, and the more specific you can be, the better. No master wants to feel like they have to constantly supervise their apprentice or that it's their job to think of things to keep you busy with. The whole point is that you can save them time. And the better you know their work, the more indispensable you will be to them.

A mentor chose me because he liked my work, I never asked for his mentorship. I went out of my way to help him save time and clean for him in return of knowledge but the one time I messed up my mentor kicked me out for the day. He couldn’t control his anger and be a good teacher. I left because I never asked for his mentorship to begin with, he chose me because of my work. Which tells me I have the capacity to do it on my own, and this mentor said the same. Maybe I broke the rule and outshone the master? Or maybe he wasn’t the master I need.

3 things that made Ryan Holiday an exemplary mentee.
    1. His primary aim was to develop skills. Not fame, not money, not reputation. Skills were the primary goal. Everything else was secondary.
    2. He took his 20’s very seriously. It’s never too late but getting ahead in your 20’s sets a solid foundation for life.
    3. Ryan dropped his ego. He didn’t take criticism personally and simply got the job done.

That is a good attitude - to focus on gaining skills and learning. That is great! But that is also possible when you recognize that “human” is a transformable being that can learn. It isn’t that you are just born with certain talents and defects, you can transform. And that attitude would help you grow. I don’t agree with the idea of dropping your ego. I think the ego has been missinterpreted. Even the desire to learn and do comes with the primary need to survive. Otherwise you wouldn’t do it! That’s why people kill themselves - because they gave up on their ego and other parts of themselves completely. They have a desire to self-destruct. A person with a healthy ego and a corect attitude can accept criticism and welcome it because it has the attitude that a human is transformable and can learn.

I'm 53. Looking back at my 20's and 30's, I wasted an enormous amount of time - and undervalued many opportunities - by allowing my ego to get in my way. It's easy to spend youthful energy on shoring up the fiction we create about ourselves. That energy is better spent learning and connecting with talented people. To do that, you have to have the courage to face your weaknesses - to take the risk of your ego being hurt. You can learn this early by choice - or life will eventually humble you into understanding it. Robert gives some outstanding advice here.

Thank you so much for this invaluable information Robert. I'm 35 and have been a go getter my whole life . I had success through lots of failure.
This past month I put my neck out and asked for mentorship. For the first time in my life I felt truly vulnerable and willing to be too....
The mentor I am involving myself with has truly valuable knowledge in my new field and I have a huge opportunity to grow myself and our company to new heights.
So I drop my ego, I listen and I don't talk over him and in return it seems, he will teach me the ways....
We keep a guard up and in return, the other people do too. Be vulnerable and you may be surprised when the opposer let's his down too.
Love listening to your knowledge and wisdom Robert. Thank you.

totally agree with you, but sometimes what looks like Ego is what that keeps it all together, I understand the disconnect of this situation with the rest of the people, we all don't go through the same journey in life.
I never had a mentor, all I've ever had has been manipulating people trying to take from me as much as possible, and giving back nothing or close to nothing in return, and I was always so giving, and it always ended up hurting me times over.
I bring an example. I opened my first studio when I was 21, I worked 3 parts of 4 parts of work there, I paid for expenses where other parties almost didn't, and I took only %25 of earnings. eventually it all fell apart as I stopped giving so much.
sometimes it's not Ego, it's just protection.

  • @Camperlife4ever

One of the most shocking things I have found in my late thirties, I only have learned this in the last few years is no one is actually looking out for you. I thought if I worked at a good company, which I do and worked hard I would be approached for more leadership type positions. It never happened. The lesson being no one is looking out for you, was hammered home when my wife and a college friend of mine went from being teachers to principals around the same time and I asked each one of them, "what made you decided to get the additional schooling that is required to become an adminstrator?" They both said roughly the same thing, "I decided that is what I wanted to do."
If school systems don't have an established mentor system where they try to identify talented teachers or people who could be great leaders then business certainly won't.

I agree with many of this, expect dropping your ego. That’s impossible because you are always aware that “you are”. You are also aware that other people are also “they are” and “I am at the same time”. Giving up your ego completely means suicide. As long as you desire to live, you are serving an ego - an ego means “I exist”

Every internet date basically knows you're trying to seduce them and thus one's power at seduction online is thereby greatly reduced. Is there anyway around this?

Firstly, why do Christians perform one prayer per day, and the number is small to attend prayer, while Muslims pray five daily and have a great attendance, even though some mosques have smells of shoes, and some have air conditioning broken and carpets dirty, yet we wake up at night and perform ablution and go to dawn prayer in fatigue and cold, the Muslim prays after ablution, but The Christian in the church plays songs, then they read some words, and the people leave
Second, why are there many priests who convert to Islam and have an account on the face of the book and social sites, but the Islamic preachers do not enter into Christianity?
    Islam is the true religion
And how could Jesus be a god? For example, if God wanted a person to die today at five o'clock, and Jesus wanted the same person to die tomorrow, how can the contradiction be reconciled, and how could Jesus be crucified when he did nothing? What a disobedient person did that crucified Jesus is absolutely unbelievable
