- There are a number of mistakes that we still make in Helltides (and I am definitely guilty of this) that we're going to cover in this video to make sure you are getting the most out of your Helltides, enjoying your endgame progression, actually getting after those bosses and getting some crazy loot. The spiders and spider hosts are fantastic for cinders since they typically multiply once killed. Find out where they spawn and incorporate it into your route between the events

keys from obols, keep them on you. Those chest also give cinders
That's a good one! I always forget about those chests until I run into one and don't have a key.
If mobs overpower you, jump on the horse to escape, heal, then attack again. Note that their health does reset, but let's you take large mobs little by little. 😊

Doesn't seem to matter how well defended you are, those soul burner demons are a pain in the ass! They always hide behind other enemies and the damn seeker missiles they fire are brutal... Even with my level 100 eternal character, it only takes a couple of hits from them to be in serious trouble... 😂
Yeah, those can be a complete pain. Did you check your fire resistance. On one of my characters I bolstered fire resistance and those became a lot easier to deal with. Granted my fire resistance was only 15% originally.
Larger mobs drop more cinders. Also any glowing/elite mobs.

Personally I stopped having trouble with them when I started to focus on mobility. They are just another way you can get swarmed. By always staying in motion and circling around or evading through mob groups and pouncing on them, I don’t have issues with them anymore.
Do cinders now carry over? Cause i finished last night with 60 left over.... then when i woke up i went into Helltides an had my 60 still
I thought I saw the same thing yesterday. I'll confirm it when I jump in and I'll hit you back here with what I find. That would be nice now that we are needing so many living steels to Uber farm.

They do not carry over, I had 298 and on the next helltide I was back to 0
If you log out during a hell tide and log back in during an other, they will carry over.
Helltides put me to sleep.

Glad they were obvious for you. Ultimately, not all players are at the same level of experience, so my videos have to cover a wide range. Hopefully, that's okay with you :)

Yeah, that does work but I don't think there is any stealing really going on. I think you actually get more per event when other are around even if they can't help. So, it ends up being a win-win! Generally, if I see under leveled players in a region I'll help clear for them, no real cost to me but it helps them a lot.
Helltide Cinders are "per account", so you're not stealing anything. As @OwnModeGaming mentioned, the more people there are around, the more Cinders there are for everyone as well and is definitely a win-win situation, besides for the jar of souls for instance, as it's best to stand still and attack and wait it out and kill as many waves as possible before picking up the 28 left over souls you require to complete the event. I wait until there's 10 seconds left then I start picking them up - I suppose the key here is that if you can wait it out or not, if you can't then just run it as quickly as possible.
Do we know if there is a continued problem with the Shepard's Aspect, I equipped it yesterday and My core skill lightening damage did not change. I have 3 wolves and 2 poison creepers
I just checked and it says my bonus damage with core skill is 10%. Lightning Storm is 1191-1456 with the aspect on and with it off nothing changes (it should be 1548.3-1892: That is a massive difference). My whole build is around resetting my companion active skills, and getting Spirt to spam my Lightning Storm. Please Help
I just did a check through the most recent patches and I did not see a change to the Shepard's aspect. When you actually play with the build do you feel a difference between when it's equipped or not. I would try equipping a comparable rare and actually look at the dmg numbers when killing mobs and see if there is a jump in dmg.
@@OwnModeGaming I have been looking at the stats scull and the damage number in the abilities. I’ll go somewhere easy. Kill some mobs with and without it. I equip the ring with it on and nothing changes in any of my on screen stat numbers. Not damage with core, total damage, total attack power. That’s why I’m confused.
@@hammapes makes sense not all affix will show a change to a stat. I have "increase lucky hit change when using bone skills" and it will not show a change to my lucky hit chance. This could be similar to modifiers to core skills when they are situational not permanent.
