Small version of CA & Oregon fire damage. Sad to see these tragic weather events.
After watching the aftermath, it's a miracle no one died. Stay strong.
Still looking for two missing. We are not out of the woods yet. Nevertheless I agree, it’s amazing how few were injured/ missing / killed at this point.
This might already be the most heartbreaking thumbnail of the year. My in-laws’ house was gutted by fire in November '14, everything they inherited from much loved parents was irreplaceably gone, my wife's and her brother's childhood memorabilia gone, school reports and photographs all gone. Insurance can replace 'things' but it can’t replace the invaluable pieces of paper and their meaning. Being in the U.K. my in-laws' house was a brick built semi-detached and everything was rebuilt within around 6 months. This is sadly going to take much longer and I think a lot of people are still in shock.
Thoughts and prayers coming from the U.K.
Colorado is semi arid in most locations with the front range getting a rain shadow effect from the mountains. Many areas see less than 14" of rainfall a year. The front range is being over developed with tyvek/ plywood shacks. This is going to be a continual theme. Fires are either caused by lightning or direct/indirect human factors. Suspiciously there was a burning shed off Hwy 93. Earlier in the week there was another fire down south off C-470. I don't think either were accidents. Both were on high wind days.
15 to 25 % humidity with little to no rain. Authorities now believe this may be arson ..
@@anthonyarcher7268 your not from Colorado are you?
@@anthonyarcher7268 is that sarcasm ? or just a mindless chit 4 brains comment
@@sunlight000 that's certainly a possibility , authorities are investigating
@@anthonyarcher7268 the grass didn't start the fire!
Same in Oregon
Great optimism! Salvage, mourn, learn, live and love.
Drove through Louisville today four days after, and they were just now removing a scorched utility truck from one of the turn lanes at Dillon and McCaslin
Doesn't look Superior now.
No Luck, Only Grace
Totally natural.
🙏🙏
Sad🙏🏼🙏🏼
I pray that GOD will stand by these people. ☝🙏
would that be the same god that let the fire happen, religion is a mental illness
I don’t see any looting, as in “zero”.
Affluent
As usual, The local governments working for and with the local businessmen allowed the beginning of this disaster to begin all in the name of profit. They knew of the propensity for high winds coming off the eastern slope of the Rockies for years. They knew of the propensity for very dry conditions each year, But their greed clouded their judgement to draw unsuspecting buyers to locate in these conditions. This wasn't a matter of IF it might happen, it was a Matter of WHEN it would happen. So who picks up the tab? Not the local Government, not the local businessmen. It will be the American tax-payer.
They lost so much, just horrible
Fires coming to Colorado!

Behold, saith the Lord, I will bring plagues upon the world; the sword, famine, death, and destruction.”
King James Version (KJV)
Nothing compared to whats to come.
What’s it like to know that the Boulder County police department did that to you
God? Really? Your God allows death and loss for what? Force you to pray to him? Sickos

bitch what lol
Once again, building developments in the middle of areas that butn, prone to tornadoes etc and we ask how and why? Inadequate government and lack of preparedness. Than we rebuild and cry about it when it happens again. Have we become that ignorant of a society? You want serenity, mountains and lakes etc, guess what? No hydrants. No fire protection. No wildland maintenance. This is the result. No pity.
@@omi_god You have to accept the risk(s). And understand that government has no clue how to react to disaster(s). We ignore building codes over costs. I became a volunteer firefighter in 90. Half the town I'm from is rural. Out of every hoke built, 2 folks built their homes out of concrete block. Why? Forest fires are prevelant with one major firestorm every 50 to 100 years and they knew this so. People are ignorant and 100% complacent that "god" and government will protect and provide.
