- The Chairperson of The South African Institute of International Affairs, Moeletsi Mbeki says the DA is correct that there has to be proportionality in the allocation of the cabinet seats in the Gauteng's legislature. This after the DA showed discontentment with the ANC's decision to give the party three seats out of ten and keep six seats and the premier. The DA says there should be proportionality as the ANC does not have the outright majority in the province. The party says the election results between the ANC and the DA are not too different.

Anc is stil trying to control tenders and money..simple
Follow the corruption road.....embedded in the Dna
ANC will be official opposition from 2029.
By design not by choice of the people. Then we are going to see Malema become our president and DA will help Malema to be the president . Watch as this unfold
@@DumaM-ir7rk Malema hates diversity too much to be president of South Africa. If that ever happens we will pay 20 million rand for a loaf of bread.

@@urbannet1392 by God's grace, I don't smoke that trash.
@@happytape307 definitely if they keep up this madness going with DA 2026 and 2029 they will go down atleast Panyaza realizes that
Moeletsi always comes across as a smart, principled person.
I wish I could share the same sentiment. This guy is fingered in arms deal and this are the brothers who have protected the white supremacy
My cat is also smart...😂😂
Mbeki brothers are supporters of the white ideology
Moeletsi Mbeki went straight to the point without wasting time. ANC is displaying greediness
Parliament should not be treated like a battle field of time wasting speaches.
Mr Mbeki, the problem is that those who claim to represent the poor like the EFF, MK, Cosatu, and SACP don't actually serve them well and in most cases are only there for their own enrichment. Their policies are also counterproductive to actual upliftment without suppressing or disenfranchising others. Envy and racism are both sins.
ANC and DA?
What is wrong about building state owned bank
What is wrong about our country owns it's own minerals
What is wrong about our country own it's land
What is wrong about our country to own rerseve bank
Why these mine owners not building factories where our minerals can be processed her so that people can get jobs
@aviwedasha2599
What is wrong? When you say country owns, you mean the government owns everything. Would you be happy if, in 20 years' time, there is a white government that owns all this stuff? You are describing North Korea, and most South Africans don't want that. That's why EFF and MK only got 25% of the vote.
@@aviwedasha2599 hhawu kodwa sisi wam, currently we are failing to Run Metros,Local Municipalities, public hospitals, public schools name it…do you think we can be capable to run those things?
@@aviwedasha2599nothing wrong of getting rid of paper money (debt) and maybe this is a way to go. But not taking peoples posessions away from them is questionable. Also blaming a dead cow apartheid who cannot produce any milk anymore
MK will be the official ruling party and ANC official opposition with DA number 4 after EFF and IFP will be history in 2029
Mr. Mbeki's insights never disappoint. I love how he is always on the edge of laughing. It is indeed funny in a macabre way how much effort we waste on our prejudices, but it's also completely understandable given our history. I think GNU is great, we've had 30 years to adjust. Now it's time to grow up, stop squabbling now and get this economy moving. I just hope it doesn't take us 30 years to grow up because that is a real possibility.
I also love the slave who support the white supremacy and pretend to be black when he is white in ideology
Can’t think anyone I’ve ever met, seen or heard of that has lived to see 120 years, 400 !!
Wow !!!
I do know and have personally experienced serious discrimination based on my skin color in the past 30 years.
The seeds of apartheid forefathers, have come to fruition... 50 million South Africans....can relate...
Always a pleasure to listen to this man. Hegemony is over for now. We need to find it within ourselves to work together. And we can.
The President must act his role. Stop listening to the Cadres
We need younger and stronger police force and who can fight the criminals.
New and stronger laws for criminals.
We need honest people in the police force who can enforce the law and no bribery and corruption.
Otherwise, the people shall govern themselves.
Crime is the biggest setback for South Africa, and nobody is safe.
With DUE RESPECT Mr. Mbeki, the ANC is SIMPLY ARROGANT, don't make excuses for the ANC!!!!!!!
😂😂 Spare seats for those parties that might decide to join GNU. That's what I think it would add value...
Let it not be difficult for other parties to join..
Isn't it fair...😅
You forget the arrogancy of the DA, it even displays to its Moonshot partners where the ANC is not even part of their municipal coalition. The DA is the racist arrogancy personified, whilst the ANC is protecting its loot, because it cannot function without corruption
Yep, these are critical moments. This is a new era without nationalism as a key driver of reformation. The days of hegemony are gone, BUT the baggage of historic subjugation, manipulation and disenfranchisement are still determining political machinations and choice of language between predominantly white and black parties. These are exciting times in South Africa. The heartbeat of South Africa (Gauteng) is beating to a new tune.
One of the most incisefull anlysts ......does'nt mince his words
👍 well said Mr Mbeki
They still want to rule most of the gnu the anc did not win an outright majority the country wants them to work togetherin all fairness pls get it right anc
It's true people will start forming their own parties according to Moeletsi Mbeki
They will say they give you a lot of things but they never do
The market hegemony ended apartheid & forced a DA/ANC coalition… The hegemony is stronger than ever!
Well we are going to see the nice shift of power from ANC to DA. but DA can’t take the country completely as people may rise . So EFF will take over from the exit of the ANC . Then the new Lion will keep the flame burning and the status quo will be maintained through EFF or sharing of power between EFF and DA.
Well the DA /ANC relationships is temporarily. The plan is to prepare the bed for EFF or should I say DA/EFF relationship . Then EFF will repeat what ANC has done for the last 30 years
@@DumaM-ir7rk A very strange analysis . EFF / DA ?
@@lwazimemela7123 I agree with Nota that the market Hegemony is behind all of this. So most people forget the history of How Pan African Congress was formed. PAC is the results of what some members of the ANC noticed the white infiltration into the ANC. Also the policy that South Africa belong to all of us who leave in it.
You look back at what PAC warned ANC member about it is happening and we can all see the mess of the same white infiltrators on how it has weakened the ANC hence they are divided today and don’t have direction. Our people are afraid to even say it because makes them sound like they hate whites. We don’t hate whites but their agenda is well know all over the world
@@lwazimemela7123 so the whole EFF leadership at some point they went to London to explain their land expropriation policy. Don’t you find that strange. They met with Lord Robin Renwick immediately EFF tone down on land expropriation and other matters of nationalisation. That’s when we saw the shift to pay back the money slogan start. Lord Robin is the guy who spoke openly about how he changed Mandela view on nationalisation and expropriation. Robin was very close to Thatcher. Robin Renwick is known as Malema handler and deny all of those handler allegations.
WMC forgot to bribe Panyaza. Now he is showing the DA flames 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Panyaza is not the favourite of many whites but he is the appealing candidate to the middle and upper class Africans
I don't care how sensitive the ANC feels. Fair is fair. ANC's feelings are irrelevant.
You also said something about makeup
MK in KZN has the most votes, but ANC kicked them out of the government! Now, Mbeki is talking about baggage when the fact is that Guateng should have a ANC, MK and EFF government. DA got away with bullying Rhamaphosa because he stole 5 million dolalrs buried under his mattress.
DA is not bullying ANC anywhere because it was the ANC choice to work with the DA because the MK party does not want to work with anyone, and the EFF is the EFF. Lastly, it was 4 million under the mattress, not 5, and Ramaphosa didn't steal it. He hid it to avoid tax. Not defending him, just stating facts.
@@khayanqaba6299So just because it's 4 million then it makes it better 😂😂😂.

Yes a fundamental differance one is corrupt the other is honest
The white party is and was never corrupt!
11:19 - 11:44 - Said reality. The poor have no voice😢
That’s the thing media shove down the voice of the upper and middle class down the throat of the majority poor
Well the poor never had voice in our history. So the upper and middle class blacks speak on behalf of the blacks majority. Unfortunately our upper and middle class they are just white men proxy and they must defend their position because if they fail then their white master will replace them with Arab, Asians or mixed race or poor afrikaaner
Love this man.
This is going to be the longest 5 years
It sound like you have some business with DA
Normally before the elections we have Hightide. Then politicians reach out. All other races reach out. Big business reach out to small businesses. After the elections we have Lowtide again. Thats when the water pulls far back. Fisherman must go deeper to catch fish. I already see this happening.
"South Africans have to look at one another not with grievance eyes..." Moeletsie Mbeki ( July 2024).
The Mbeki brothers are sellouts . They are black who think in white ideology
Sellout speak like the Mbeki brothers
To me when I hear about going forward and so forth.it’s about recommendations
They have been involved yes yes yes yes yes the difference is that DA wasn't invited by all so aspect all to simpatico with all
This guy is pathetic. Everyday we hear the anc side of the story through their press conferences and everyday they say the same thing, the DA is arrogant, then everyone just regurgitates it. For once the DA holds a press conference and tells their side of the story, and he says we must wait to hear anc side of the story . 😂😂😂😂
DA won the Gauteng province
Why can't ANC do the same in Western Cape and KZN
ANC list power in Gauteng
Why this big deal?
Proportionality is Grade 3 maths. Baggage? It's a gravy train😂😂😂😂😂😂
…not to say collective memory, nor that discrimination by law didn’t happen, it definitely did in South Africa. As it has elsewhere worldwide, including slavery - at any one time ALL nations/culture were enslaved.
Can we move on now…
With they 34 they can still form a government with 2 other parties the same can't be said for DA that's the defrints no other parties can get DA over 51%
What about 3 parties?
SABC is on a mission to destroy Black professionals in this country.
Who pays this guy to defend white monopoly capital?
This is a very wise guy listen to your elders
27% n ANC 34% difference is only 7% DA contributes 39% in GPU/ GNU Therefore 11MEC (incl Premier) x 39% =4 MEC for DA.
So argue with facts...khawume nge white monopoly capital😂
@ newinfoglobe7864 the Mbeki brothers and their relationship with London is danger to our democracy
London pay for the Mbeki brothers hence they even benefited from arms deal. The project of London
The tactics ANC used on that “GNU” cabinet are top political tactics …
1..used DA to vote for the Ramaphosa they wher calling him Mr Phala Phala and that he must be held accountable
2.used DA and many other parties to expand the cabinet size which is axactly what they been complaining about
3.deployed into ministry positions 2 cadres from DA armed with just matric certificates
This have proved to the South Africans that people are liars ,pretenders who will do anything at cost as long as they are on the receiving end !and I guess from now on they will be quiet about all such issues 🤣
Better than a ex president with a grade 5
@@cobuslombard8546 okay
Lol, you fail to mention the other da ministers with degrees...how convenient.
@@marysinclair3759 yes coz everyone has post matric qualifications in ther is only those two outliers
@ SonOfTheSoil834 the tactics that you credit ANC with are not their own but their handler. All our political parties have their handlers and if you look closely you will notice this handlers are the same people but using proxy elements. So what is going to happen from now moving forward is ANC /DA relationship that will prepare the bed for EFF. But before EFF can take over, we are going to see EFF/DA alliance and ANC will be the official opposition party. Then once EFF take over we are going to face similar government to that of ANC in the last 30 years
Bye bye
DA hypocrisy. MK has the majority in KZN but they don't allow them to form part of GNU . Shut the door in GP
