- I applied for the Chase IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card... The only problem? I got denied for too many card accounts, meaning the Chase 5/24 rule caused an automatic non-approval. However, I knew I could try a couples tricks to get approved. Calling the Chase Reconsideration Line was the first step.

Authorized user technically doesn't count toward Chase 5/24 rule. When you call a reconsideration line make sure to let them know.
It seems like everyone has mixed opinions on this topic. I was able to get an agent that didn’t count authorized users but other agents did
I applied for chase sapphire reserve I have 750 credit score 1 inquiry it says 2 weeks notice I'm going to call in to speak to a live representative
Absolutely call in! Waiting 2 weeks for a decision is too long in my opinion and it never hurts to call and ask
