I love this breakdown of all three characters, and I think a big part of it may come into play with WHY we need superheroes, in part they are just escapism, but product of the time or not, heroes are role models, they show children fantastical renditions of acting courageously, and whether you’re an adult who grew up with Luke sky walked in episode 3 and the decades old comics that used to sell like hot cakes, or the kid who just saw the tremendous Thor rubber band on his development and that’s your first impression, it hurts, deconstructions are important in their proper place but when mishandled, or rushed, it hurts to see your triumphant role model crumble
