Hi, im planning to purchase m56. I heard if m56 has rear worm gear issue. It’s very hard to fix even at Infiniti dealership. Have you seen or experienced rear worm gear problems??
Im new to your channel EdBwoy. Great content and it seems like you are an expert on the M56 and Q70 models. Just got a 2018 V8 5.6 Q70L. Loving the car, but definitely want to upgrade the exhaust..not for more power but just to upgrade the sound. Do you endorse the Infiniti sport exhaust and is there anything else you would advise on that type of Mod?
My honest opinion is that the Sport mufflers by themselves aren't a good bargain. There have reports of drone at different RPMs, due to the active noise cancelling system (I have a video about it somewhere here). A good number people end up with custom piping because it can be done cheaper than buying any of Infiniti's approved setups. Others just delete mufflers, or resonators and use a combination of custom piping with the sport or stock mufflers. The possibilities are endless. I think the sport mufflers have a high chance of annoying, with little sound improvement. The V6s have a more dramatic change in sound.

Sorry I missed this comment. I have used a scanner as simple as an orange one I got for 30 bucks from AutoZone. I would love to get a nice unit from Autel, but in all honesty, the q45s are not too complicated and don't have many issues that a basic scanner won't catch.
replace the battery in your key fob. whenever it is doing the clicking like that it is actually the chip in the key not letting the starter turn over. next time it does that use your key fob on the start stop button to start it.
Had this problem for years with mine, especially in the winter. What finally worked for me was giving it gas when I start it. Doesn't make sense, but it works.
Hello Ed. What would cause a car to only drive in reverse when put into NEUTRAL and DRIVE? This is a 2009 Infiniti FX35. There was no engine light when the problem started and persisted. Some have pointed out being low on transmission fluid but my father was told it has a bad transmission by a mechanic he took it to.

At the moment, I don't have any M56s vehicles ready or available to sell. The main sites I would check are: cargurus.com, autotrader, carmax (expensive but good warranties usually), eBay motors etc. Even Craigslist is an option, sometimes you get lucky.

It could be a a park neutral safety switch issue.
Do you have the clips on how it sounds on the high way?
I don't, but it sounds just like stock when cruising.

I have an M35 08 which year old Mufflers from your m56 fit the M35
They don't fit the previous generation as a bolt on
