About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

A wax finish will add to its 'antique' look and I see why you chose the bookmatch style when you brought the 2 pieces of furniture in that were the inspiration. There are really no words to express how amazing this room already is; I can only imagine when it’s done. And thank goodness for Ash behind the scenes to keep things going so that you, Terry and Trace, can carry on with this incredible project. What a glorious chateau and legacy you are leaving Jonathan, in SO many ways.
I like the black bits. Your ability to just push on with daunting projects is in your character. I’m not surprised that the room looks as fantastic as it does because of your ability to create your vision.
For all of the doubters here. Keep calm and let them carry on. It is already amazing. I can't wait for the finished look. The table and headboard are perfect. Terry, you really did step out of your comfort level on this one. I know it has been challenging, but the results speak volumes. We'll done both.❤

Terry you are truly a visionary. Your ability to read a room and see what no one else can see is a godsend ability. To then have a family that trusts you and is your full support, who then works as hard as you, is a rare gift.
Just stunning, I'm a wood person who enjoys the beautiful grains of wood. My rooms are in Blackwood in the 1940s. To recreat graining is fabulous. Yes, the camera makes it look different. In the end a fine eye to go over each panel to make sure no white shows through 😊
