Such a great piece of music.
This is one of my very favorite ones to play on the bass clarinet not it is not a long black saxophone
braxen b i like playing it on my regular brass colored saxophone
Suleman Qureshi oo
🅱️
Suleman Qureshi 😂
Ok.
I have to play this on bass for our Christmas concert! It’s probably one of my favorite pieces we’ve played
samee
The only reason we are playing this is because we got a student teacher, and we are working on Hindemith for the national music festival BUT I STILL REALLY LIKE THIS SONG
Gotta play this for Christmas Concert and I'm hyped for it.
Same hereeeee
i was given the bass clarinet part and i absolutely love this!
Middle school core memory from more than 20 years ago unlocked...

Playing this on my winter concert and other one.
My school has been playing this song at the winter concert for years- by now it's very much a tradition. The 8th graders play it since it's too complex for the 7th graders this early in the year. After we play it normally, we play it as fast as we can (it's chaos but fun lol) and tey to beat the previous year's time record.
My school does that too I play it this year

i love this, in band i play the trumpet for our christmas program soon and it's so much fun to play in a full band arrangement
I am playing it the concert on December 6th
Tbh yea I play tenor sax
I'm playing it on the 10th
I'm playing this year we were supposed to last year but saxophones wouldn't learn there part so we had to cut it
lMao am clarinrclarinr

Playing this for my Christmas concert, hope it goes well!
I'm playing it today
I am a euphonium and that top note after the first jingle bells is scary😭
I’m in band and we are doing this and I’m exited I’m a trumpet

Twitch. Tv same
I love this baritone part I play in this song at 0:25
I'm playing this for a elementary tour
You guys sound like you’re playing this at a concert. I have to march to this. lucky peeps.
Andrew Palacios yes I am. but not high school. It’s 8th grade jr high.
I played in a marching band once Big Rapids and Reed City football game
Evan Wildner That’s really cool. but I don’t think I’ll continue my band life because I’m interested in other things like robotics or something. But I would if the HS I’m going to allowed 2 electives.
wOt bitch, leave band and I’m ducking your toes.
@ayzyn_ I'm in percussion and it's fun
glad we were able to play this in band, i play french horn and we actually get some interesting parts in the song such as 1:13 where we're playing by ourselves and not grace notes throughout the song like we usually do in others
Lixavon I didn’t expect to see you here lol. I play euphonium. What do you play?
french horn
Lixavon I play alto sax, we play that part too (but that’s cuz we don’t have any French horns in our band, which is odd considering we have 90 people)
True, sometimes that’s like our trombones!! I’m a trombone.
Note from a trumpet, ( ew, I know ) it's a welcome change to not have to play the melody!
Ah yes 20 carols in 2:09
it doesn’t start untill 0:04 and it ends in 2:04
playing this for a virtual concert this Christmas, im on trombone 1 btw
Same bro
Like the songs
1:30 fav part omg
played this in band for a concert (it was recorded) and i played bass clarinet i dont actually have a bass clarinet but yeah
Does anyone know all the carols in order
No cap tuba at 0:57 is epic
It’s the low brass section :)
When they add Bass clarinet an octave lower it doesn’t sound as good because tuba show be playing that octave and bass clarinet should be playing trombone octave
What is the song that starts at 1:53? I have to play this for school and I can’t figure it out.
Jayci Dayle I saw three ships
Austin McDanel , thank you so much!!
I do wonder why the clarinets seem to play in this staccato, particularly at mm. 33-34. I played clarinet in school, and we didn't play any less legato than the other instruments.
Whats the song at 0:29
Angels we have heard on high
@@ilbrxanli4045 thanks for that👍
What’s the song at second 32
Jolly old Saint Nicholas
My school played this in 1:53
Crimsxn Jay the song at 1:53 is named “ I saw three ships”
