Brace yourselves for the epic conclusion to the Santa the Barbarian Saga. This chapter finds our anti-hero battling the coming of spring to create his kingdom of eternal winter! Combining themes from Vivaldi's Spring and Winter, as well as Dies Irae, Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, Up on the Housetop, Oh Christmas Tree, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas, this dramatic work for band and narrator is sure to be a highlight of your winter concert! Ho, Ho, HOOOOOOOO!
All the band teachers still question if Randy PURPOSELY added so many "ho ho hos" just to have the band teachers ask "where my hos at"...
My band teacher did the same thing to us
My band director was like “guys for Christmas I want more hos from yall I like them loud”
The best way I can explain this is by saying Santa as an Elden Ring boss.
I mean...you're not wrong. The original inspiration came one day when I was playing "Elder Scrolls: Skyrim." I thought as a joke "What would Santa's Shout be?" Of course, it would be "Ho! Ho! Ho!"

This is such an incredible piece. Our 7th grade band played it this year, and all my classmates loved it. 2:30 just hits different
yeah it’s when you get into that really fast part it supposed to change it for you and excite you about what’s gonna happen and build suspense
My 8th grade band is playing it and just all of the switches from powerful brass parts to light airy parts with the woodwinds and then to big percussion hits and ascents is just the best expecally when all 3 are combined

I played the first Santa barbarian and mechanic monsters I love those pieces, I play power rock, trombones in paradise and mechanical monsters last year in 6th grade and this year for Christmas I played feast of Stephen and Santa the barbarians

I just played this for our Christmas concert. I only got the most boring instruments, not even a single keyboard percussion. I was in charge of the cymbals for two songs and the sandpaper blocks for the other

The notes used on 56-57 are in pandora and are known as (the notes of death) used mainy in (The Shining)

I just finished my schools winter band concert, which means I have performed all three of the Santa the Barbarian song, each of them are absolutely wonderful!! (The Dies Irea is one of the coolest musical elements I’ve ever gotten to play!)
