I have noticed that you both take the time to thank each other for the little things you do for each other. I can tell you, over 20 years of marriage and 1 teenager later that this small kind of consideration really matters. (we chose to have a few child free years as we married soon after we met)
I'm curious how many viewers of travel vloggers are introverted home bodies like me, and don't want to do what you are doing, but enjoy getting a glimpse into a completely different lifestyle. I love my quiet home life and have zero desire to live in a vehicle or travel around the world constantly, but I still love seeing others traveling and getting a glimpse into other cultures. Thanks for sharing. :)
This trip is something else! 😂😂👌🏾 Louis is an absolute legend! I'm just like Riya. That scream each time something hits a bump. 😂😂 congratulations on your wedding! Can't wait for the wedding series! ❤️
Remove the rear box and mount it forward of the rear axel. It compromises your rear clearance too much especially with the long distance from the rear of the bus to the wheel and axel.
Loved this episode!!! I hope you guys have the greatest time on your wedding day and take in every moment of your special day 💙💙 congratulations to you both!! Also you both handle the stressful situations with the van so well! I would be a mess!!!
I love watching you guys on your travels to Costa Rica and can't wait to watch you get married,it is nice to see how you work together and talk and help other on the drive you've been through some hairy situations together that's for sure. It's nice to see how respectful you are of each other and thank you when you help each other. I certainly think you are going to have a wonderful marriage as the trials and tribulations of van/buslife have certainly been difficult and stressful for you both. Good luck in getting to Costa Rica and your wedding can't wait to see it ❤
It’s so cool to watch you guys navigate through in the bus. As an anxious person like Raya I am inspired to try more things so thank you for doing this and sharing with us!!
Louis I've traveled The World extensively, and your travel adventures are a true delight to watch. small slight suggestion when you are entering a parallels trac perhaps red by foot to see what's around the bend?! also, have you thought about teaching Raya how to drive?!!!
Can’t wait to see your wedding pictures. Costa Rica is beautiful. My niece got married there 10 years ago in Manuel Antonio. Amazing wedding! Good luck surviving your final plans. Also looking forward to seeing your land and the process of building your house. My sister in law’s brother lives there and his property is beautiful. You have definitely had an adventurous trip. Congratulations.
I love watching you two, you are so good together. I am a 74 year old full timer in vanlife and like you I love the life. I would not want to live in a house ever again.
You sold me on saying name of JOHNNY HARRIS. He is one of the best investigative journalist, which is a rarity in today’s era, and who I have followed forever & admire his work deeply. So so excited to buy this course even though I do not plan van life anywhere in the near future but anything that has Johnny Harris’ genius and you both who I love love love will just be fun and educational. Wishing the best to both of you and Johnny!!
Aw thank you so much! He really is amazing, his channel is one of our favorites on UA-cam for sure. So grateful that we got to collaborate on this course!
Louis you need to weld bump stops on the rear of the bus. most large busses with overhang have 2 thick legs with a foot to take the impact before the body of the bus hits.
My moms from el salvador Auachapan! As a kids shed take me and my sister every summer to visit family and grandparents we would also drive to Guatemala thats where my dads from
Hey guys, you both are so inspiring, and Raya, you look so beautiful.. If me and my partner ever get a chance, we are gonna definitely think of getting a bus/van or something similar. I’m sure my partner would enjoy remodelling the van and fitting in new things like how Louis does. It’s so nice to see the both of you almost perfect for each other 🧿 I think it’s the day of your wedding today, and I wish you both a really happy and beautiful life together❤️
I love how you all show the struggles of bus life. It is a beautiful adventure for my family to go on one day, however, we would need an unlimited supply of money. The amount of unforeseen damages, fines, and gas alone is a lot to process. However seeing all the beautiful places ya'll have been is magical. Safe travels to the final destination!
Great video guys and was as usual so enjoyable enjoyable, nice and calm compared to what you may face next time as you share. Good luck with the new course you're launching with help..I want you guys as stress free as possible.. You both are couple goals and I've been married a whole long time without the visible caring love and respect you show to each other. You two are so authentic. I appreciate that! You just come across as such good people and humans. We need more of that in this world! Till next time stay safe as well.. oxo💕 ✌
You Guys are Enjoying your Lives the way it is Supposed to be. In my younger Days I used to be a Tour Guide in my Birth Country Kenya but now I live in Canada. I am thinking of Selling my Condo and go enjoy life again in the National Parks Masai Mara & Serengeti. This though came to me after Covid being Stuck in the house for Months. Anyway keep on ENJOYING. 🇨🇦🇰🇪
"I think we smashed it" not sure that's the right choice of words to use lol. I love it, the boarder shuts down at lunch time, and don't you mean Bus Life 😜 After seeing you use Just Egg on a previous video I decided to try it and dam it's good, thanks for that👍
Fair play to you guys. I would poop myself driving that bus through those narrow streets. If they were just one way they are bad enough but you have to also contend with oncoming traffic. Legends 👍 Ha ha and you were watching Eva on your phone before lunch too!
Hi guys, I love watching your adventures driving through Central America... you're doing great :). Could you please write a short summary of what you need to enter each country you went through? Like the formalities and stuff... or do you just come with copies of your passport to do border and they'll give you everything? I would really appreciate your quick summary of necessary things. We plan to do that with my boyfriend next year as well. Thanks a lot and happy travels!
Louis, with all of these narrow streets and having to have Raya check for you and all of the backing up and hoping for high enough clearance with power lines and everything, makes you glad you're not a school bus driver for a living, huh? 11:17 Then when it's raining, it's like a shower within a shower. 13:08 "Back Box Damage" could be a playlist of its own. The Nicaragua border crossing sounds as strict as one would expect USA border crossing to be.
Let me know if i can help with vanlife q's and builds decisions etc.! You mentioned it as part of your course and i'm always happpy to help 👋🏼 Have an amazing week both x
Yeah, such an exciting road trip!!! We wish you all the best on your arrival down here in Costa Rica. Stop by and we can give you some fresh Cashew apples and Mangos! Consider it a pre-wedding gift!
Dang I was thinking of upgrading from the sprinter van to a bus, but seeing how many tight spots give you headaches it makes me wonder. guess it’s just part of it haha!
First of all, I really love the way you guys share your life, you are both so positive and honest, I like it a lot. But, I cannot help but wonder: how long can you do this living and driving in a van? What about the environment? What are you thoughts about that, I am sure you have, because of the treehouse and ecological/biological food growing and stuff.
Just enviously watching your videos and thinking about how we will be doing this soon. Moving to Peru next year from the UK (hubbies fam are Peruvian) and we would love to travel. How are the restrictions and requirements for V passports through the borders as we don't have them. Happy to test if needs be(even tho this might stall travelling 🤦🏽)
My anxiety level are off the roof, Seriously if I was their, I would rather sold off the bus & bought a sprinter van or something like that but it also teach who to stay claim in all situation...
I didnt expected it but I litterly broke into tears, It is my dream to travel in a bus for over 4 years. Iam watching you because You guys are so inspiring, Iam not finding much dutch bus travelers and everyone calls me crazy here. I never talked about it but I won't stop untill I get my hands on a skoolie... Thank you for the reflection and everything you do. Sending you both much love, one day we'll meet!
I have noticed that you both take the time to thank each other for the little things you do for each other. I can tell you, over 20 years of marriage and 1 teenager later that this small kind of consideration really matters. (we chose to have a few child free years as we married soon after we met)
Tarzan riding a School bus is such a vibe ^^
The way Louis looks at Raya when she talks about their passion project 💜💜
☺️❤️
The most beautiful country on earth, Complete with the friendliest kind hearted people 🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻
Literally the best "schoolie" adventure i have seen on YT.
Aw thank you so much! ❤️
I love how Louis just loves the challenges and Raya freaks out every time. I'm definitely team Raya there, haha!
Amazing videos 📹
Makes me so happy to see you all traveling to my country! I love it when people visit and are able to the beauty of El Salvador 🇸🇻
Raya is so naturally beautiful, even sweltering in a school bus ;)
Yes she is!!!
Haha thank you! That dinner shot was filmed after I applied my nightly skincare which is why my skin is glistening like that 😂 but thanks!
@@RayaandLouis Next step after school bus: double decker/articulated bus
I can’t wait to visit my home again 🇸🇻 El Salvador is beautiful🤍🤍

Great episode, the dip in the ocean looked so wonderful. Your story telling is great and I felt like I was right there with you.
You keep me in suspense in most of your videos!
Rear cameras and side cameras hooked up to a dash display. Might be helpful.
Wow, I seen a couple of other bus conversions like your on your video. That pretty cool.
It’s so cool to watch you guys navigate through in the bus. As an anxious person like Raya I am inspired to try more things so thank you for doing this and sharing with us!!

I hope you plan on exploring a little bit of Honduras! You are truly a phenomenal and underrated travel channel!

Another smash vid : got lost in that 30 mins (except taking in the sofa blanket - um colourful, lol.)
I think I personally would prefer one of those short buses, just because the long bus would cause me to much stress. Lol.

Is there not anyway, that you could create a box for the roof an remove that back box off so that you don't have the same continuous issue.
