- Enjoy we shot to show the process and sequence of works of the making the branch of 16 pc wood carved canes for Chimera Senior Society of Dortmund College, Hanover, USA by GC-Artis Creative Workshop artists
Two years ago the co-vice president of Chimera Senior Society sent us their emblem depicts with three animals: a snake, a lion and a goat to embody this design in a stylish cane. Dartmouth is unique in that it's society members carry canes during graduation to represent their membership.
Maestro woodcarver from our GC Artist workshop made a sketch & carved the first prototype of the cane from a soft wood completely by hand. Then, in order to reduce the time and effort for making identical copies, we used a primitive duplicator and a template for removing the general shape of the 16 pc solid oak wood handles. All fine wood carving of small details done manually.

What is the name of your carving copier?
This is a homemade experimental duplicator we have used before. Later we replaced this with СNС which does the rough work (the basic shape of the workpiece) and then a professional wood carvers do the fine carving by hand. There are 4 woodcarvers in our team. The percentage of hand carving in our works varies depending on the complexity of the cane, it can be 100% for the one of a kind custom orders to 5-10% for primitive products with a simple design.
I have a lot of things in my walking stick, I have all the items that I want to buy, but I want to give you a clean pure Indian item. I have a number of items that you can handle with walking stick handle.
