@@ronaldwells1805 DJS tractor parts, Stiener Tractor, yesterday's tractor all those are in the 20s but could also try ebay or an allis chalmers B group on Facebook to see if someone has them used.
Great video, I will be starting on mine soon I hope. these videos will be a great help. It would be interesting to know your cleaning and painting techniques. Those parts look spotless. Also what paint you are using. How did you check on the seats for those check valves?
Sand blast, glass bead blast, wire brush, or a combination of them all. Then prime with self etching primer and spray on some Tisco persian Orange #1 acrylic enamel. The only way I checked the seats was to try and blow backward through the valves with the check ball in them. From the two pumps I managed to get 4 that were very good. Two of the others had flat spots on the check balls. I figured if it will hold air that well it should be great with oil.
If you're working on one of these remember that this pump runs at a lot higher pressure than others so you cant use another manufacturers cylinder or you'll blow the seals out of it.
The return spring for the shift plate appears to be new. Do you have a source for that or how did you obtain the spring. I have a Bseries and the spring haas lost its tension so the pump will not return to neutral after raising the mower. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Not to be rude or snide, but please relook at your oil pump video, and check your rotation and vane placement. I hope I am wrong, it looks your vane are in wrong Good video! Glad you got your parts. did you send your block to a machine shop or did you do it yourself ?
You may have very well saved my tractor..... I guess I mixed up the direction of rotation. It's opposite the crank rotation but on back of engine and I must have gotten turned around.
@@JPN76 Thanks! trying to figure out that next. Factory paint jobs everything orange except rear rims and headlights I read some place, I do however like the silver look to your control valve plate.
@@JPN76 dont remember where I read that about factory paint job, but they said it was thick with runs and sags, and what was not painted orange. Since this Tractor was my Wife's Grandfathers, and I dont know if it was bought new or used, I plan to re do it to like new / original with as much original parts that I can.
Great video! Thank you for being so thorough and explaining how it works.
You are welcome. Hope it helps!
@@JPN76 do you happen to know what pressure is within spec?
I do not but i think i saw it in a manual. Ill look later to see if i can find it.
Found it. With gauge attached you should read 3200 psi when relief valve opens.
@@JPN76 thank you very much! You’ve been a great help.
Turned out great.
Thanks
Thank you for sharing this video... I also will doing mine soon too hopefully I can get that seal to. At the auto store
You are welcome!

Thanks for the info. Mine is working great but if I run into that now I know the cause!

One day I i might put a gauge on it out of curiosity. But yeah, to operate a cylinder that small, it has to have some serious pressure.
What type of paint did you use to paint the Grey and the Orange. I am currently restoring a C and next step is paint?
Thanks.
The orange is Tisco persian orange#1 The silver is some rustoleum aluminum color spray paint.

I actually bead blasted and painted the old one. No idea where to find new for this.

It's not past me to mess it up so I'll double check. No machine shop I'm trying to stay as low budget as possible on this.
Well shit! I just looked at the teardown vid and they are different. I'll double check the manual and correct the video. Good catch thanks

I think I asked you before, but what type of paint and primer are you using? Rattle can or a Paint sprayer?
Rattle can etching primer and tisco paint thined with hardener added in a paint sprayer.

@@seniorelectrician6831 yeah I did a little different with the paint. Part of front rim silver then gen and starter black/silver.

How much weight can this hydraulic pumps with a standard cylinder lift?
I have no idea. Can't find specs on the tractor Hydraulics. They have small diameter rams so probably not a lot compared to modern stuff
