I bought this similar fan but the remote stopped working. I thought it was the batteries and changed them but it still didn’t work. Any thoughts? Have you had any issues with your fan?

Thanks to you I bought this fan. I absolutely love it I was able to install it in my basement that I just finished over the last 4 years. Super easy to add to my unfinished ceiling that's just painted black by simply running a line from one of the can lights over. Definitely worth it.

Will this work with a standard fan/light fixture that has 2 switches?
That is what I wired up here but you can only use one switch. So independently controlling the fan and light has to be done with the remote. Turning on the switch will turn on the light. Off turns off whatever is on light/fan/light+fan

My smallest bedroom is about 195 square feet, any bladeless ceiling fan suggestions larger rooms? I can see benefits and efficiency in a smaller size room over traditional ceiling fans, but hard to find discussions about larger size rooms. From a marketing perspective silence and omission might be speaking volumes though.
@@Micaiah144 these fans are definitely better in a smaller rooms. I have one in my son's room and its not moving enough air. I'd say his room is larger than 195 sq feet... my office is about 120 - 135 and the fan is almost directly over me and it will freeze me out...
How do you adjust the light modes to when you turn on the light it comes back to the light mode you had on when you turn the light off ? Having a major issue with turning the light on/off a few times every time I turn the light on to the
Lights return the default setting so you have to adjust it to the color you want each time... that seems to be true for most of these remote controlled items with kelvin options.
Just found this video and am looking to add this in a room with lower ceilings. It's going to replace a dome ceiling light but will this fan work with the original switch that controls the current light fixture? Rather than using the remote for off/on function?
So the light switch will work to turn on the light only but will turn off both light and fan. So essentially you will still need to use the remote to turn on the fan, change speeds, change lighting colors or to dim. Hope that helps!

I believe so but not positive. I know the remote will likely control both whether you want them to or not.

Do you have to stand directly underneath it to feel airflow or does it circulate air through the room?
It moves air but you will definitely notice it much more directly under. Having had it for the time we have now I’d say 12x12’ room is probably the max size appropriate. It’s a little undersized for my son’s room. Definitely not the same airflow that you’d get from a traditional fan. That said it’s super easy to install anywhere a light fixture is and doesn’t require additional bracing or brackets.
Will the light switch already in the room control the LED light on and off?
Yes it controls the light but also controls the fan. So if you have the fan and light on and want to go to bed you have to use the remote to turn off the light. Or if you leave the room and don’t want to turn off both you’d need to turn off the light with the remote or the light and fan would turn off.

Is there a video that will tell me how to fix mine it’s beeping and bottom light comes on and top light don’t and fan won’t come on either. Plz help

Can this be installed in a the existing light junction box. Or does there need to be a bracket installed specifically for ceiling fans.
It is lightweight enough it should work in any existing light box

This is good, replace the light on the bedroom.

How did you check to make sure the electrical box/brace is fan rated?
Fan is super light, I believe any light box will work unlike what is needed for a traditional ceiling fan
Sometimes nuetral cud be connected to ground if no nuetral is there right? 😂

I don't think you can... it's a good question. LEDs tend to last a very long time but still a longer term issue...

Same problem here. The x bracket that came with the fan doesn’t have any holes that line up with the existing 4” box and the holes it does have are so close to where the sheet rock opening around the box that the anchors aren’t holding.
How to I connect the fan if I only have a black and yellow/tan wire coming out from the ceiling? My fan has a black, green and white wire attached
I hope you got it installed... I try not to give advice on installation since we are dealing with electricity and bad information could be dangerous. Green is your ground wire... black to black and likely the tan/yellow is an old version of the white but I can't be certain.

On the apple store its called FanLamp Pro... i can't see for android but the QR code on the manual takes you to jasonghost.com where you can jump to the various app pages.
I removed my old ceiling fan and light. Coming out of the ceiling is an orange wire and a white wire. I assume I attach the black wire on my new fan to the orange wire, and the white wire to the white wire. My question is the base of my new smart fan unit has a yellow ground wire screwed to the base. What do I attach the other end of the yellow ground wire to?
Hey sorry, but with the risk of electrical issues I cannot advise on your particular situation. For me orange and yellow wires don't align with the standard electrical lines in the US that i'm used to.

How do you install this if you have red wire from ceiling?
You don’t need the red wire, cap it and forget it. The light switch will turn the fan and light out and everything can be controlled with the remote

What if you have 4 wires running from your ceiling? Is one of them to light switch?
you likely have an additional red wire? A fourth wire, usually red, is used to carry power to the light kit, of a traditional ceiling fan, so that it can be controlled by its own switch. You can wire nut the red wire and it is not used...

You never said what wire go to which wire. How do you explain a video of what I'll give you directions.
The instructions that came with you tell you which wires so I didn’t think I needed to explain it.
My fan didn’t came with instructions or the controller totally inoperable only the light works the app doesn’t work without the QR code assigned to your fan bad experience

What size bulb does it take? And can you change the bulb if it's burnt out
no bulbs it's built in LEDs so no you cannot change them... Don't recall the hours on the LEDs but its still going strong for us
