Nice! Thanx for this tour, David! I had no idea about this area :) Might have been passing it quite few times back in the day, but can't realy recall it. I've watched De Palma's "Body Double" recently and i think the Reservoir had a big part in it, tho it didn't look anything like this in the movie :)

I love this place. I only discovered recently after a friend spoke to me about it. It's kind of hidden but really fun to walk through especially for people who don't like tough hikes where everything is uphill. This is what amazes me about LA, you think you've seen everything but there's always something new to explore and discover.

@@TheDavidNeytsShow Yeap, and the weird thing is, i've always thought that i've seen all those non-popular areas while i've never been to some of the most visited landmarks, like everyone goes to see the Grifith Center and i've never been there, don't know why ;) One more reason to pack up things and take a hike in LA ;)

Yes I understand your point of view that it's a little bit sad to not be able to enjoy 100% the nature with all this security. But if I understood right, it's the reservoir that gives water to the all area, right?
If yes, I suppose they have no other choice to do that, otherwise we'll see a lot of trash in the water, you know how some people are 😅
    Thanks for the ride!

You are correct, the water is used for the people around this area. I'm sure they have a bunch of filters. I'm not saying that we should be allowed to swim on the reservoir but it would be nice to be able to get even closer. Still a very nice place to go on a stroll.

What part of L.A. do you call home? Do you enjoy that area?

My home in LA is Glendale and it's a wonderful city. It's a really safe area with a lot of shop, great hikes and pretty central relative to Hollywood, Pasadena and Burbank. Also, it's close by to my favorite area which is the Echo Park/Silverlake area of Los Angeles. So, yes all in all Glendale is a great City
