Great tip on setting up a default base profile for all addons.
6 years later - still the best Vuhdo guide by MILES
aw thank you. I honostly am surprised it's still usefull after so many years. Glad it is though.
8 years later - still the best :)
@@msromike123 Gosh yeah... it's really been 8 years :O It's what I always loved about Vuhdo, no major changes. I guess that's how good it is.
Thank you for this, been using your addon for years and this is the first time i got around to setting up different profile and key layouts per spec
Thank you so much, you made this so simple by explaining each step. I watched others and they left out a lot. You explained it like you were talking to someone who never used it before and didnt skip the how to stuff like setting it up from scratch. You are awesome!!! Thank you!
Thank you. You give the absolutely best tutorials. I've watched quote a few on VuhDo now and without a doubts your is head & shoulders above the rest. Thankfully it was the very first one I watched, so it gave me hope that I could set my own up, but I always come back for another watch to pick up on the finer points.
Aww thanks! This made my day. All my guides are based on experience in game where I help tons of people set addons up for the first time using teamspeak. That gives me a lot of information of where people usualy get stuck in setting it up. That reflects in my guides.
This is so helpful and your instructions are very clear. Thanks!
thank you! I am happy you like it.
Your spoken English that most native English speakers, great helpful video, thanks!
This guide is fantastic, and super simple to follow. Thanks :D
Love this guide, so well done & easy to follow! THANKS!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Very clear and perfect examples and descriptions.
Question tho, i have that my left click is for riptide, and if i click on a random target and try to left click the frame with left click i cant left click to rip tide (or right click for chain heal), it works if i use the buttons numbered on my gaming mouse but not the left click itself. how do i fix this?
Thank you so much for this easy to follow guide
Unbelievably clear explanation of VuhDo for noobs. You are a ROCKSTAR!
Very good. Professional level video.
Thank you so much. So clear and easy to understand!!
Phenomenal guide, really helped me out, thank you!

Thanks for this video, I like to run holy for raids and Disc for pvp, and it was driving me nuts having to redo my spells all the time.
This was amazing. Thank you!

I'm new to VuhDo, and this was extremely helpful. Thank you!
good choice you went for Vuhdo, good luck and have fun in game.
Thank you very much! :)
hi, thanks I will recommend this to every 1. Thank you!!!! Suscribed!!!!
awesome! thanks
thank you soo much.
xxinda, fantastic video! I have used Vuhdo for years and learned something new today. Also - I recently forgot to make a default profile in my recent install. If I make a profile now, will my options be reset? Thanks.
If you want to keep your current settings but save under a new name; go to Tools - Profiles and type your profile name in the blue box, then hit Save. I hope that helps
Hi! Very nice tutorial, but I have a question. As a resto druid you have a lot of HoTs, so my quetsion is, how do you set it up so that you can see all the HoTs on the frames? You only had one HoT on your frame (the one in the bottom middle of the unit frame). Thanks!
You can use the other numbers for your other hots, Like where I had Earth Shield you could put Regrowth, or Lifebloom. Then maybe not use other player's hots but use that number for your own HoT. Hope this helps you on your way. Xxinda
Hey xxinda, Thank you for the guide. Very well done. Could you please tell me how to get the spec icons (healer, tank, etc) to show on the panels? Thanks
Tab -General -> indicators menu right : Special Dot (left row 3rd from top) -> select "role icon" in the drop down list below. If that doesn't work you might have to reset it to default and start over as someone else had the problem aswell that the icons weren't showing. I hope this helps. Kind regards Xxinda
Thanks so much xxinda... that worked
Robert Graves Awsome, glad I could help.
Hi, nice guide. I set everything up, and had seperate frames for tanks. But when I go into a raid, the tank frames are there which is good, but then the tanks also show in the normal groups, this is confusing me. How do I make it so it's set up like the WoW raid frames where the tanks can have their own raid frames and NOT appear in the other raid frames?
I explain that in the guide, if you start watching from @8:06 you will find your answer. Thanks for watching.
Do you still play wow ? . ever thought of doing more guides on VuhDo there is still plenty of guides you could make, Harm full spells bouquets. more advanced things. even an updated guide for 2018. loved the video keep it up and i still hope you are playing wow
Hey Mark, yeah I am still playing wow. I did think about it a lot of times. But then there are so many guides about vuhdo already and then I wonder if it's worth the fuzz. It does take around 8 hrs to prepare-record-edit a guide like this.
thats amazing thank you very much. jus one more question for you is how do you gt the class role icons
Thanks, you're welcome :D Role Icons: Tab - General -> indicators menu right : Special Dot (left row 3rd from top) -> select "role icon" in the drop down list below. If that doesn't work you might have to reset it to default and start over as someone else had the problem aswell that the icons weren't showing. I hope this helps. Kind regards Xxinda
thank you, i actually sorted it out.
I'm still having one problem however when I change the color of the bar to solid it is this gross colour and I want to try to replace it to make it a little softer because the bright colours are irritating my eyes when I have class colours on.
Then you're going to have to make a custom healthbar colour theme because Vuhdo won't allow you to change preset colours. Which is quite a lot to explain in here ghehe. If you go to General tab - Bouquets. You can type your own custom name in the blue bar, hit save. Then select that custom name and configure everything (you can copy it all from the presets, just write them down and do same thing) Once you have figured it all out. Then select your own custom healthbar in Pannels - Bars under custom settings. Have fun exploring and I hope you figure it out.
So... I figured I might aswell make a guide on how to set-up custom healthbars..Go check it out if you didn't figure it out yourself yet. I've put the link in the description below the vid.
12:31 PuG Raider Impression :)
haha pretty much
Can vuhdo be configured to have different panel sizes per group makeup? For instance my 5man group size for panels would be scaled larger than my 40man raid group size panels. Can vuhdo make the change automatically or do I have to scale it manually each time?
Hey there. Yes that can be configured. You need to make 2 Profiles (Tools - Profiles) Dungeon profile you then create the bars as you like with different size. And Raid profile you then make as you want it in raids. Then when you're done, you configure each profile when to "Activate due to group size" (Tools) which would be 5man for dungeon profile and tick everything else apart from 1 and 5 for your raid profile. If you have more questions or need help, let me know.
Just wanted to let you know that your suggestion worked like a charm. Thanks!
If you click on a person to heal does it bring up there profile (picture) next to yours (top left)
Hey Estelle, I am not entirely sure what you are asking. If you mean their healthbars to the left of your own healthbar, then no. That section is where only tanks show up. When you heal a person in the Vuhdo frame it won't show anything outside of their bar unless you have tooltips enabled, but that stil won't show a profile picture. If this wasn't your question, please try to explain to me again. please :D
ok so im new to wow and i don like this add on but i dont raid or heal but i like how clean they are so i was wondering how i would set it up for M+ stuff
hi, I suggest you take a look at wago.io - Vuhdo. There are lots of setups to chose from and then you can import the one you like into VUhdo and you will be done very quick. For the link : wago.io/vuhdo
lovely accent :)
thank you, very clear xD
im just wondering where do i remove pets, i dont want to see them
Thanks, glad it was heplfull. To remove a column, in your case pets. You go to "Move" in Vuhdo options at the bottom. Click on the small red cross that's inside the column where it says "pets". If it's in a seperate Panel, then also click on the big red cross to the left of the panel to remove it completely ( assuming you don't have more columns you're using in that panel ). Hope that helps, if not, let me know.
How can I see who is who in patry? Dps, tank, healer on the bar?
Tab -General -> indicators menu right : Special Dot (left row 3rd from top) -> select "role icon" in the drop down list below. If that doesn't work you might have to reset it to default and start over as someone else had the problem aswell that the icons weren't showing. I hope this helps. Kind regards Xxinda
how to add or remove a buff in the buff tab?
Hey, I do not know. I have never used the buff tab. Sorry I can't help you out.
Extremely helpful, but i could not find where i would assign raid icons for players! Everything else is PERFECT but i would like to indicate from tanks/healers/dps. I have tried general under indicators and Panels under hots icon. Not sure what i'm doing wrong... Thanks
+Nancy Quinn hey hey. I'm a bit confused what you mean, you say raid icons, but I think you mean role icons? that it shows healer/tank icon? In that case: General>Indicators>Special Dot>select Role Icon. If this is not what you meant, let me know.
Yes thats what i mean, and i did do that, nothing is happening...closest thing i get is the dot.
Nancy Quinn The only way I can think of if you only get the dot is that you put Role Color instead of Role Icon, but I assume that's not what you selected..
I want role icon but seems like the only thing close to that is role color..
In the drop down list under Special Dot (general indicators) there is an option to select Role Icon.. be sure to disable any role color/role icon you maybe selected under HoT Icons though. In case it's covering the same spot.
how do i target people in my group because i want to click on them and target them so i can use the equip from items but it doesn't let me target them. and like right click them to whisper or inspect them
You can keybind target in Vuhdo, tutorial is in the description. And to use an item on partymembers you can also make a macro that looks like this : /use [target=vuhdo] nameoftrinket Then you type the name of your macro in the keybind section of vuhdo.
oh awesome thank you
Hello, i have a peculiar question. I got a good trinket for treatment that accuses a random player and cures him. How do I set to see which player has this dote bar?
Hey, thanks for the question, good one. You're talking about custom debuffs. 1st you need to know what the debuff is called (wowhead will usualy give this information when you type in the name of the trinket). Then you open up Vuhdo, go to Debuffs at the bottom, then Custom in menu to the right. You see a bar where you can type stuff in the window where it says Store/Delete. This is where you type the exact name of the debuff. Hit "save" for it to store the name (in the Store/Delete window). Then you can configure if you want it to show as Bar Colour and change the colour if you like. Hit save again after you changed all that and when you're done click Okay at bottom right of Vuhdo. IF the debuff is trackable (which is not always the case) It will show in Vuhdo.
Ok, I have it, but how do I set it on the bar eg eg in the visible raid as icon of this, in the hot icons I do not have it or maybe I did something wrong?
hmm... Can you tell me which trinket it is? Then I can help you better. It's possible I give you wrong explanations ghehe
www.wowhead.com/item=140795/aluriels-mirror&bonus=3514
SO Hel[full.. but I am looking ffor the CHAIL HEAL setup, so I can see as hot icons
Chain Heal is a direct heal and cannot be shown as a hot icon as far as I know. If you meant to show it as a cluster to see who it would heal if you start the cast one a certain player, that is no longer possible.
@@xxinda thank you!!!!!!!!!!
can somehow be blocked so that always after joining the new group the panel with new players has always been in the same place? e.g. 5 man or radis
I'm struggling to understand what you mean. You mention panel, but do you mean column maybe? And you want new players in a seperate column? or panel? help me out please haha, I'm trying to be creative here.
hmm how to explain it: D when I get into a group, and then I leave it, my panel stays in the place where I was in the raid ... can it be set to be in one place after leaving the given group?
Try creating a column for (own group) and follow instructions on how to not get yourself double in the panels. Instructions start @7:37, keep following guide till 8:50. This will fixate the panel in the same place showing you always first. (be sure to drag (own group) te be your 1st column.) I hope that fixes the problem. If not, let me know.
definitley dutch
Is this R2D2?
Not gonna lie, I had to google that. I am going to assume you are very creative with saying the guide was helpfull, allthough I do not possess magnectic feet.
Your soo Dutch/Nederlandse
haha yes I am, not trying to hide it ;)
@@xxinda Zo een vraagje; Ik merk dat Vuhdu blokkeerd de blizzard raid frames. Is that normaal?
What the fuck is FOODOO? Don't call it FOODOO if it's called VuhDo. V. Yeah. V. Not F. V.
Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry that my Dutch accent triggered you on how I prenounce Vuhdo, I shall pay attention to this from now on.
Big Blue Frontend Cringe.
What a ridiculous and rude comment! If you didn't like the accent why listen to the video. She's obviously not American. The information was excellent, the video was well made...and you gripe because of an accent?
