I can't believe this is 9 years old and by far the best vuhdo tutorial series I've seen on UA-cam. Thank you so much for putting in the time to make this guide, it is still helpful to this very day.
Even in 2021 this guide is super helpful. I was being driven crazy by how the NPC panel would continue to be visible even if Hide Empty was selected, so you gave me the idea to set the opacity of the border and background to 0 (totally transparent), and then enable click-through.
this is a game changer for me! i legit have only been using the key bindings in vuhdo up until now. this, and the first video, are super helpful! Thanks so much for making them, 11 years later still usefull!
FYI I always come back to this tutorial for my vuhdo settings if they screw up ingame. Even now in 2019 for retail/classic. I've always liked the look and such of these bars since this video came out.
Hey! Sorry, I don't know off the top of my head. I'm not playing WoW anymore, so you may want to check out the Plusheal.com forums for your answer. The good folks over there are usually really quick to reply. The link to the vuhdo subforum is in the video description. Good luck!
If you don't want to write macros for it you can always get an addon like Clique where you literally mouse over the spell in your spellbook and hit the mouse button (or keyboard button) you want it bound to. Easy Peasy! If you're using Vuhdo you can also have it write macros for you by opening up spelltab or keys --> local menu and typing in spell names associated with certain mouse buttons. The keys ---> local menu will bind to your keyboard and spelltab is for mouse.
@IstrebitelQzar Hello! Yes, there are two ways to fix that problem that I can think of at the moment (stuck in traffic). The first is to check the box that says "click through frames" which should turn your vuhdo panel into a non-interactive panel. I'm not sure if this also applies to the units in the panel, or just the panel. If it's just the panel, it would be the perfect fix. Otherwise you'd have to tweak the x/y slider to get rid of negative space in between units. I'll check when I get home
Hey! All you have to do is make a macro, and then bind that macro to a mouse button using either the in game menu or an addon. The macro is /cast [@mouseover] Flash Heal. Obviously substitute Flash Heal with whatever spell you want to use. If you'd like to have the spell function as a mouseover AND just a normal targetable heal you can add /cast [@mouseover] Flash Heal, Flash Heal. Remember to also bind mouseover spells to F,G, R, T, and C as those are really close to your fingers!
@iceassassin2 Sure! I actually have a video that goes over my UI. Just search for Bellamie's Healing UI and you should find it. There's a list of the addons that I use and a link to my saved variables folder in the video description.
@1988Miura bah pressed enter prematurely. type that in under the spell tab. if you've entered it in correctly then it should say command to the right of the box. left click is the typical bind for it but you could bind it to whatever
@jakergore my portrait is actually from shadowed unit frames. you can download my settings for suf from following the link on my ui video. just go to my profile and click bellamie's UI.
I love Vuhdoo, however I am having some issues with it. I've done nothing to the profile section, but when i went in to a bg and raids it swapped my frames from what i had set up to a new un touched frame.
your last video stopped on debuffs, and you were saying that you'd show the demensions for debuffs to show up in the middle. i thought your 2nd video would finish it =(
hello, thank you for your great video. I just have two questions when im using vuhdo under your settings. First, how can you show the amount of heals when im healing a target? In grid, it usually will show a faded bar next to the player's health. Second, why sometimes a character's health would turn into different color, like blue and purple?
Hi. I'm changing from HealBot to VuhDo, and is there a way to how a hint on the spells that I have binded as a mouse over? I'm new to healing, and I don't have all of my spells down, so If I mouse over VuhDo with the Alt key pressed, I would like a tooltip with the spells I have down associated with the mouse keys. Tks
I've used Vuhdo for years and love it up until this point in Dragonflight. Added the new improved Talent tree Adaptive swarm but doesn't work for Vuhdo in DF becasue it says wrong zone. I don't know if its Blizzard UI or what but its frustrating for sure.
them with mark of the wild as well as using left click as my rebirth or my revive I watched the video but I was curious how can I make buffing my targets my left mouse button as well as being able to revive them or rebirth them with my left mouse button because I'm trying to get it back to my old settings cause in my spells tab I got Left Mouse button: Rebirth, Right Mouse Button: Target Middle button Button 4 Rejuvination Button 5 Innervate do I need to make any changes to any of them?
@HURLEY7130 dont worries, i figured it out ^-^ i had a priest duel me, and then made a custom debuff for devouring plague, moved the x and y's just right! thanks for the amazing guide, coming from healbot, im using your exact customization and
I have a question about something I use to be able to click on my square to buff myself with mark of the wild but now I can't see last night I did something with my curse client addon trying to figure out what was wrong with my internet. So I tried running my addon settings cleaner :S I lost all my settings on my UI had to reconfigure everything lol. And what I use to be able to do when I was in the raid with my guildies was left click on the square target that I needed to buff and it would buff
Hello, thankyou for a great guide! I was wondering if there is a way to create a partyframe? Ive been able to make a raid setup, but cant figure out how to make a partyframe that is showing when im in a party, and that the raidframe is hidden while im in a party. As it is now I see 2 of my own group. 1, that is "my own group" 2, that is part of the raid frame. Atm it seems that VuhDo is all ive ever hope for...apart from lacking a raidframe :( Can you help you think ?
I tried this addon on my belf priest, still lvl 53 only... I tried some instances with this, I used the correct mouse bindings, still I could not cast anything other then my flash heal, and my shield :/ so for me it bugged as hell :( I like how it looks like, I like the oppurtunity with this one, but since it did not worked for me... I have to give this one up :(

Thank you for this! This is an old video but the addon hasn't changed at all by the looks of it.

Amazing, this guide is still relevant, really good job on the vid
Your voice is so pleasant. Thanks for the guide.
Thank you for your videos on Vuhdo! I am switching up from Grid and this is extremely useful!
I have set VuhDo to sort by class and it shows correctly in the example groups. But when I'm in a real instance it doesn't sort. Any ideas?
You did a wonderful job, thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial.

Great video, only add on that I could find that worked with the new patch. Super helpful, I can now get back to healin :D

@IndarosK happy that it was helpful to you :)
How do you configure Player and Target frames the way you have them?
This was soooo awesome thank you a million times
Awesome. Needed this for my Druid!
I love Vuhdoo, however I am having some issues with it. I've done nothing to the profile section, but when i went in to a bg and raids it swapped my frames from what i had set up to a new un touched frame.
