This is about the best video on the Swiss Champ I have seen yet. You weren't kidding when you said you were going to try and make better quality videos. The Swiss Champ is my favorite Victorinox. I totally agree with everything you said about it. Somedays I do not have it on me yet have another multi tool, I find myself wishing I had the Swiss Champ instead. Awesome video.
Thanks so very much buddy! I’m really enjoying the process but it’s taking longer and I don’t have as much time to watch as much of other creators content as I used to. Have a great weekend!
I use the fish scaler as a back scratcher, and the end makes a nice fondue fork! I sometimes use the end of the bottle opener as a pry bar or even as a little coke spoon, lol 😂
Nice reivew! I have gone back and forth with this tool as my every day carry, but it's one of those that has a tool for many different options. I pocked carried mine mostly because I disliked how a clip & split ring were in the way of some of the tools that were used. For me the pliers work excellent at trimming guitar strings, after re-stringing the guitar. My biggest competitor for the Swisschamp is my currently carried Hercules. I feel it has a concise tool set that I want to carry, and is in a larger package. Victorinox is smart because Swiss Army Knives are like potato chips, you can never stop with just one. Thanks for sharing.
It's a great video film! On the point of the pliers, a paper clip is steel, these pliers are a precision instrument copper wire should be no problem. The pliers is more for electronics, computers, radios etc, and they outperform any medium or large multitool? I tend to stick with the smaller Recruit or Tourist. The Swiss Champ lives in the drawer only occasional use . We all have our favourites. I'm with you on the fish scaler. Absolutely sometimes you need a blunt tool for prodding and poking. My video Victorinox Angler black V Neep and carrot. Lol .
Thanks Rob. I’ve been carrying the Deluxe Tinker mostly lately but the Swisschamp will always be my favorite, for the SAK geek factor if nothing else 😄
The pliers work really well as a "holder". Put something in the jaws of the pliers, and then "close" the pliers. They won't close all the way, of course, but they will close enough to put pressure on the bottom arm against the body of the SAK and hold whatever is in the jaws. I use this a lot to grip the pocket clip on my flashlight and then the SAK becomes a "base" for the flashlight to hold and point it for me. I've also used the parcel hook in a similar fashion. If there is something around to hang the parcel hook onto, then the flashlight can just sit on top of the hanging SAK or if the flashlight has a magnet, magnet it to the body of the SAK while it is hanging.
I ordered one a couple days ago .i have some SAKs .im gonna try to carry it .i like the magnifier and the pliers. Its mostly the blade that i use though. I don't know if i will like it but it is definitely a super cool little gadget.
Excellent review of one of my favorite SAKs, the Swisschamp. Love the super tweezers name for the pliers. I will just say that the pliers on the champ, while small, are very precise. The tolerances on these tools are amazingly consistent. I’ve handled many of these over the years and they all are invariably the same, precise tools. Beware of fake, Chinese army knives. But the quality of the real ones usually stands out. Liked and subscribed. Thanks
I see that reloading press. 🤓 This is my third hand. When I lose it (read: when my kids take and move it), I'm emotionally and physically effected. Always a treat when I find it again. 🤗 Also, the SC acts as a great intro to Victorinox offerings, and you can then decide which tools you actually use, and get the smaller knife with that toolset.
So true! I wish I had more time for reloading. I have the dies for 9mm and 380 but I’d really like to add .223/556. It’s just a single stage press but I kind of like doing one or two stages at a time so I don’t screw up.
@@SigogglinJack I have a Rockchucker? Single stage press. I have a few dies, but never got to try it as the kids take a not small amount of my free time. Eventually, I will start with 38sp in a 357 mag frame, to make sure it can't grenade on me. The I can start loading pussycat loads for new shooters. Revolvers don't need the cartridge to operate the action, so something like 400fps would make punching holes in paper at distance more fun and less shocking for new and young shooters. 🤓
Awesome video and review Jack,I watched every minute of it!!!! Really great multi tool for sure!!! I bought a late 70's model spartan and I really like it a lot!!! I don't want to say it out loud but I think I am starting to like SAK'S??!!👀 What do I do 🤔 Thanks for sharing brother and have a great weekend!!
Marvelous video on a marvelous knife that I have never owned. Might be because of “the bulk“ of it. This video might make me reconsider… Thank you for this video!
I’m on my 4th or 5th swisschamp already. Not because I’ve worn them out but because I’ve lost 2 or 3 of them. I always try something else (swisstool, leatherman, smaller victorinox, etc.) but keep coming back to the Swisschamp.
Lol cool magic trick! So will you keep carrying the Swiss Champ? Once it worms its way into your brain, it becomes more and more useful I think because your brain starts to accept that you always have all these tool with you. I don't have a pocket clip though. :(
Your UA-cam video content is so good. However the video does not get many views. Because your UA-cam channel has some problems. Do you want to know about the problems?

Back scratcher!! Perfect 👍

They are habit forming. Great collectibles!

I concur, sir! It's definitely an everyday carry for me, and the suspension clip is a lifesaver for the pocket.
Thanks for watching buddy!!
I really liked this video, thanks!!!!
Love Swiss Army knives!
Thanks very much for watching!!
A really comprehensive video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching brother!
You should check out Felix Immler, if you haven't already. He will explain exactly what can be cut with the pliers, for example.
Felix is awesome. Thanks for watching!

Great looking tool. I've never had a SAK. I don't know why other. Than most of my knives have come from the hardware store. Have a wonderful day today
Thanks! You have a great day too.

I have a swisschamp, it's a great edc knife, thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. I appreciate it.
I carry mine in the watch/5th pocket of my jeans, fits perfectly and doesn't move about.
That’s a good idea 👍. Thanks for watching!

Brilliant video Sir! And I do have a fairly good attention spam.
Thanks man! Yep if you do!😀
It's a pretty cool SAK! Great fallow up on it!
Thanks Randy!
I have the Champion, which was the Champ's predecessor. Pretty much the same tool set, except the Champion doesn't have pliers.
Interesting. Sounds like a good one. Thanks for watching!
Your welcome my pleasure to join your channel
Great review!
Thanks brother!
I put the swissqlip on the champ, keeps it tight in a cargo pocket or small pockets.
Very good. 👍 I’ve seen them but haven’t tried it yet. Thanks for watching
I can tell you had fun making this video. Im getting one
seems like the perfect EDC tool, plus for camping and maybe even work
Thanks Clayton!
@@SigogglinJack Love the creativity! I just ordered a swisschamp in black
Great video, your slowly making me want one lol :)

Thanks for video. Is the magnifying glass powerful enough to catch the sun to start a fire?
Yes I believe so. There’s a few videos out there of people doing that. I’ve never tried it though. It’s 5x I think. Thanks for watching.
Lol cool magic trick! So will you keep carrying the Swiss Champ?
Once it worms its way into your brain, it becomes more and more useful I think because your brain starts to accept that you always have all these tool with you.
I don't have a pocket clip though. :(
Thanks Anne. Yes every time I try a different SAK model I keep coming back to the Swisschamp. It’s just the perfect tool for me.
What type of camera are you using?
I use my iPhone 14. Thanks for watching!
Sure! I've a lot of Swisschamp, one celebrative never opened!!
Thanks for watching and commenting my friend!
It’s a great knife but a bit bulky for me.
She’s a chunky gal. Thanks for watching brother!
