Very similar to Tabatha Coffey's shows with mostly hair salons, but a few other companies. I don't eat in restaurants much and I cut my own hair, but both these shows are still fascinating at how many people can open businesses and totally miss one or more of the main points of running a business. I was just thinking this when he explained why the show has now ended. Anyone with a restaurant business should watch these shows as a guide on how to present yourself and how to organise your time and work effectively within different budgets. Sadly many people just have a stack of cash an think it will be a walk in the park or force everyone else to run their family business from what I can see.

+Da34Box Credit where credits due. Gordon and Jamie respects each other, healthy competition. Fun fact: Jamie Oliver has a higher net worth than Gordon Ramsay, but Jamie doesn't have one michelin star.
+Martin Nielsen Oliver is so much richer than Ramsay, I just read he has a net worth of $400 million. Not that strange though since Ramsay made his career focusing on fine dining which is much more affected by economic recession etc and Oliver is more mainstream, getting "the mob" to buy his cook books etc I bet their rivalry is based on this fact, Ramsay is a little bit "jealous" of Olivers economic success and Oliver is annoyed that regardless of how wealthy he will ever be, Ramsay will always be considered the greater chef.
Oliver speaks well of Ramsay, too. I think it was in either the "Trouble at the top" series or the "Boiling Point" series, Oliver says all Gordon's food was "pukka." That's high praise, in very colorful Brit/Indian lingo.
I cant explain why. But I have a sort of fascination with Ramsey. I don't know if its his passion. His skill set. His personality. Or the wonderment of tasting either one of his restaurants or food prepped by him himself. I just find him interesting
Without wishing to sound pompous I think he's an artist. For him, food preparation is an art form comparable to painting, writing, etc., for others. I'm not a fan of the man, but his ambition, drive, and dedication is admirable.
Gordon has become one of my favorite celebrity personalities. I’ve learned a lot about cooking from watching his videos, and learned a few new curse words and phrases from him as well.
I was addicted to this programme. I always found it staggering how every restaurant the visited did not seem to understand that the best form or either positive or negative advertising is word of mouth and also that it is free. If these restaurants had the foresight to recognise this then perhaps the point that Gordon tried to make would have been clearer.
I learnt management in every aspect of life, not just kitchen but generally and did applied and discovered that it works... Thank you so much Gordon Ramsay
I will miss this show because his attitude towards food and being better motivates me and inspires to do something in my life. You are well respected CHEF. God bless. :)

fpstina You certainly aren't a great role model though. You have a symbol of hatred as your avatar as well as a racist Trump hat that is also a symbol of hatred. All you are missing is the Confederate flag to complete the look. I'm sorry to say that, but it's the truth.
Bobby Marc typical comment from a conservative goon. All you guys say is "fuck you libtard faggot". You "conservatives" and republicans are all the same. You don't have a shred of decency or soul, yet you claim you're the only ones who have it. All you care about is yourself, nothing else.
Most people don’t realize that assertiveness and delegation is an art form. Even if you pay the salary, it doesn’t mean that someone will do what you ask them.
Until now KN is my comfort show in YT. Whenever I'm eating or bored, I need to hear Gorgon roast all those ghastly food. He helped a lot of restaurants but it's disappointing to see some of them close weeks or even days after.
He risked his stomach for the rest of us.....glad that he turned around restaurants and shut down those that didn't not deserve to exist. Great Man, literally a GOD I would say. I have not seen anyone else with this much drive in their hearts anymore....A true Inspiration
I love watching this guy. Sure it's funny, but more importantly I've learned a lot about food handling and cooking by simply watching him and listening to what he tells other chefs and cooks.
I'm surprised someone hasn't bought the entire series, and made a list of season-episode (and name)-time-category-lesson. From there, people can sort the list by which category occurred the most, and at least avoid doing that in their restaurant. The major ones would likely be: cleaning the kitchen, throwing out the rotten/old food, proper cycling the older food into soups, menu sizes appropriate for the restaurant size, tasting/comparing your food, and paying attention to your staff (listen to their complaints but also fire the problem employees)
Gordon Ramsay is a truly extraordinary man. His work ethic and knowledge is off the charts. I'm not even a chef, I'm a musician, and I wish He was my mentor!
Thanks Gordon for the great entertainment and inspiration. U.K. version is best. Coming from a family business you've taught me a lot and helped me put things into context. Yu are right on so many levels.
Despite all the screaming and cursing he was earnestly trying to help all those restaurants and "chefs". If you catch a rare video of him with his family or just his wife you realize hes actually a really really nice guy. Yea the muppet reference was epic

Thank you Chef Ramsay {and believe it or not, I think it likely served to educate the public}. May your future be blessed with wonderful dining experiences.
Kitchen Nightmares UK is such a joy to watch..thank you, Gordon.
Wow, he gave some love to Jamie Oliver.

Not that strange though since Ramsay made his career focusing on fine dining which is much more affected by economic recession etc and Oliver is more mainstream, getting "the mob" to buy his cook books etc
I bet their rivalry is based on this fact, Ramsay is a little bit "jealous" of Olivers economic success and Oliver is annoyed that regardless of how wealthy he will ever be, Ramsay will always be considered the greater chef.
Oliver speaks well of Ramsay, too. I think it was in either the "Trouble at the top" series or the "Boiling Point" series, Oliver says all Gordon's food was "pukka." That's high praise, in very colorful Brit/Indian lingo.
Oliver started off in Gordons kitchen, so they're quite familiar with each other
I cant explain why.
He is just brilliant
*conceited
Aleksandra Ciric I actually do find him heartwarming
And he is rolling a new season now
Sometimes I wonder if you could plant corn in the rows on Gordon's forehead. They're like little irrigation channels.
TheTayz stress, no sleep
Dude 3 years later and this one of the best comments I've read on UA-cam and I read a lot lol Hilarous
You can make a river stream with them gaps
Interesting question
I imagine you could play it like a musical instrument
And now Nightmares is coming back 🎉
Gordon has become one of my favorite celebrity personalities. I’ve learned a lot about cooking from watching his videos, and learned a few new curse words and phrases from him as well.
I loved how he would brought up all the good things in a business and bring it back to life
I was addicted to this programme. I always found it staggering how every restaurant the visited did not seem to understand that the best form or either positive or negative advertising is word of mouth and also that it is free. If these restaurants had the foresight to recognise this then perhaps the point that Gordon tried to make would have been clearer.
3:36 Businesses would do well to remember that crucial piece of advice.
Thank you Gordon for all your hard work..your shows are spectacular.. hope to follow the next journey..
"Cooked by a Muppet that thinks he's the next Gordon Ramsay."
I think we should have a little word with Swedish Chef.
“A muffin that thinks he’s the next Gordon Ramsay” 😂 now that’s a flex
muppet.
I learnt management in every aspect of life, not just kitchen but generally and did applied and discovered that it works... Thank you so much Gordon Ramsay
GR is a role model no matter what industry you’re in!
I will miss this show because his attitude towards food and being better motivates me and inspires to do something in my life. You are well respected CHEF. God bless. :)
Same. I started watching his show and it kinda made me realized how shit some food I cooked was. It made me become critical of my food and others as well. It has made me a better cook and made me find better restaurants
Can listen to him all day very hypnotic and full of drive still even with all his cash still watch them today awesome
The Bonapartes episode he mentioned is some of the greatest tv ever!
Chef Ramsay LOVES food and has a true passion for learning food cultures, teaching others how to cook and do business and is why he is my favorite
I hope it comes back. Great show, great cook, even better personality.
im glad im not the only one that watches so much KN/HH/gordon ramsay that i get a video from 6 years ago recommended to me
love gordon ramsay... good role model for all you kids out there...
In terms as hard worker yes lol. But not so much with his language XD
+Eddy BEANIE Rey k
fpstina You certainly aren't a great role model though.
All you care about is yourself, nothing else.
maxdecphoenix so republicocks only accepts other republicocks walking the planet?
That’s so sad to love food so much and be cursed with ulcers for it. Good on him to take a break.
Smart and hardworking man. Grats on building the Gordon Empire !!
Gordon is the best. Such a warm guy.
Most people don’t realize that assertiveness and delegation is an art form.
Even if you pay the salary, it doesn’t mean that someone will do what you ask them.
Hello dear, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the Virus??
I am so sad that this show ended. I was looking forward to watching it all my life
"Never ever ever give up.........I need a rest" lol bud, you deserve it. Tried to help a lot of people. Miss the show!
Until now KN is my comfort show in YT. Whenever I'm eating or bored, I need to hear Gorgon roast all those ghastly food. He helped a lot of restaurants but it's disappointing to see some of them close weeks or even days after.
"it may come back...it depends on my ulcers"
mood my man
He risked his stomach for the rest of us.....glad that he turned around restaurants and shut down those that didn't not deserve to exist. Great Man, literally a GOD I would say. I have not seen anyone else with this much drive in their hearts anymore....A true Inspiration
Made me happy to know that he is thinking about picking it back up down the line.
I don’t care what Gordon is doing I’ll watch any show he is in. Cant wait for the next GR content. Such a legend!
@@toddkes5890 Would be really useful.
Gordon Ramsay is a truly extraordinary man. His work ethic and knowledge is off the charts. I'm not even a chef, I'm a musician, and I wish He was my mentor!
You deserve the break!! An amazing teacher and chef, take care of you!!
4:18 - "Never ever EVER give up"
*2 seconds later*
"So I'm giving up"
Thanks Gordon for the great entertainment and inspiration. U.K. version is best.
I mean he honestly deserves his time off he always try to help and caring but he deserves his health
One of the geniuses on this planet ever. One of the ingenious shows ever.
“It was too disgusting.”
*Interview over.*
I am happy to see that Gordon Ramsay finally deserves a good break from it all. He worked so hard to help others for a long time. We respected you Gordon, get well, and eat well. Cherrio!
This man is something else! Everyone thinks hes an asshole but he genuinely cares about these businesses
The more I listen to him speak, he is the modern Auguste Escoffier. He seems to be a genuine human being and I’d cook in his kitchen any day. I loved Emeril growing up, but this guy is the best.
He is certainly trained at that level, and has that degree of experience. I would say though that his trademarks are more about the meats and pastries than the mother sauces, but GR can pump those babies out like a machine!
A great guy....should be knighted......he'd have to watch his 'P's' and 'Q's' during the ceremony though! lol
*The queen is walking towards him in the ceremony*
Gordon: "Hurry the fuck up you fucking donkey, how the shit do you run a country movingly like that? You probably couldn't even run a fucking McDonald's!"
I know he isn't like that in real life, but still.
Anglo Saxon Ramsay doesn't deserve the Queen's greatness. Ramsay is too crass and vulgar, and the Queen knows this.
SouthwesternEagle What greatness? Lmfao
SouthwesternEagle no the queen doesn't deserve gordon lol
Gordon already got the OBE
I watched a show with Gordon.. fell into a nap and dreamt I worked with him and felt satisfied by working with him! Feeling he is always correct even if he is so aggressive with all his comments.. love you Chef❤️
Next time on Kitchen Nightmares: "MCDONALD'S, THIS IS FUCKING RAWWW!"
Goes to In-N-Out: "Mmm! This is delicious!"
He actually went for seconds on In n out.
He was basically like a hero. Sorting these places out.
Was it the food or the stress outbursts which created the ulcers?
the food
Try having Crohns disease and having hundreds of ulcers inside of your guts, welcome to my world...
reece callow Oh you poor soul. Fuck off with your attention seeking bullshit.
Sean Davies Welcome to UA-cam people, where you will encounter random people that are just out to be absolute cunts behind the safety of their computer screen.
reece callow I'd tell you to fuck off to your face babe.
My absolute favorite show by the Master himself, Gordon Ramsay. Hope he's able to come back and do more. Love him!
Having UC, I feel for him on all the ulcers. That shit sucks, hope he's doing better
He did come back and do a cooking mixed with national geographic travel type thing, it was only available on paid streaming in my country though.
Hello Joy, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the Virus??
Crab cakes? More like crap cakes.
A very humble chef every young chef should envy and want to be. No ego whatsoever.
There need to be serious health control companies over every single restaurants in the world no joke that would check the food quality and the kitchen's state and if the requirements were not met: instant closing. Poisoning your customers because of sheer arrogance is unnacceptable and should be taken much more seriously by the governments.
Respect Mate...rewatching Hells kitchcen during covid 19 lockdown.
Biggest flex when you can say someone thinks they’re the next YOU
😂'last meal'.. Gordon really saved a lot of us. I think my personal rule of dining is 'if I cannot smell what is cooking' walk away.
Gordon and clarckson can you imagine how epic that would be
They cooked lobsters on an f-word episode years ago check it out.
It’s been 6 years you should come back 4 times as strong
