Love you Scottish vlogs and I can't wait to see more! I would say it is probably best filming them with your vlog camera as the phone's picture quality isn't that good and it is very shaky.

I'm staying in Edingburgh and relying on public transportation. does anyone have any experience on this type of travel and if it works out as enjoyable?

Charlie Sophie I think her father is very nice, and highly intelligent. His father who left Germany in 1938 reminds me of Sasha, because he liked books and taking photos (Dietrich Alsberg wrote a book about his life which I bought. He was an electrical engineer/scientist. The entire family was comprised of individuals that were gifted!
I'm totally fine with you using your phone. You totally don't need to do this but if you wanted to permanently vlog with your phone you could get a wicked fisheye/regular phone lense. Also, this vlog is totally made by Lindsay's facial expressions as you film so close to her face haha.
Its so strange watching a video about the Country you live in but from a tourist point of view, when someone is impressed/confused about something you're so used to seeing or experiencing. Good, but strange.

Public transport across Scotland (and Europe as a whole in most countries) is very good, so you'll be absolutely fine travelling in this way :)
You can also take day-trips out of Edinburgh to visit different places with special buses. I think it is more expensive, but probably more efficient.

Why did you fly to London then drive up, wouldn't it be easier to fly to Northern England/ Scotland? Just curious. Isn't it a 11 hour drive?
The flights are cheaper to fly to and from London. It's also around a 8/9 hour drive from London to the Glasgow-ish area.
