Both Jennifer Paige and this classic pop hit has aged like fine wine. It is amazing how nostalgic this song has become for most who were children to teenagers throughout the 90s.
A mostly-forgotten '90s masterpiece. The melody is great, the vocal performance is great and the lyrics are so tight--killer lines while keeping the rhythm and rhyme.

This song captured the spirit of the late 1990s to perfection, one of my faves of 1997-98 along with Savage Garden's Truly Madly Deeply and Natalie Imbruglia's Torn. Also Jennifer Paige is a truly beautiful and kind person, shockingly hasn't seemed to age at all more than 20 years later.
