I was at a friend's house for a big millennium party that ended with the entire party going outside to watch the big fireworks display. It was just an amazing night, there's no other way to say it. I will forever remember that night actually. This song is so fitting for that time.

Living during this time (99-00) was so crazy, because everything felt so new and different with music, movies, electronics and tv (I was 8 and 9) and the Y2K hype around it all was even stronger. I will always associate this video and song with that moment (even though my mom wouldn't let me stay up until midnight on NYE bc she was scared). There will never be anything like it again for the rest of our lives.

At least you folks were old enough to remember 1999-2000, I was only two years old when the Y2K Paranoia occurred and when 2000 began, so I didn't really remember anything then. Seemed like it was a very interesting era to me, but then again, any moment in the past seems pleasant to anyone living at that time, especially when they're young.
As a fellow Millennial I agree. Best time to grow up. We experienced the evolution of technology: internet, TV, mobile phones. So much has changed. It will never be the same.
