- In this episode I give you a brief step by step guide on how to prepare the exterior surface of your caravan/RV for a new coat of paint.
Over the years I have looked for a video just like this, but it seems most people simply paint over the existing paint.
Over the years I've spoken to many industry professionals and other experienced trades people who have given me a lot of guidance throughout this project. My process is based on all their advise.

12,000 dollars for a paint job seems outrageous. You seem to have done a great job stripping the van, I’m looking forward to seeing the end results.
Wow only just discovered your channel... I live in a 1972 caravan on my own land...I also know how to polish aluminium... Old retro vans look great in natural shiny aluminium... Steel wool would make that van pop, just scrub it with steel wool to make it look new again... Very cheap and easy to do and redoing it is simple unlike paint.
having ur van with just the bare aluminium, wouldn't the weather have an effect on that?
