- Time to install the New Process 205 transfer case in my 1974 Dodge W100 restoration project. Unfortunately, removing it required cutting the cross member in two, so I have to deal with both placing it in a different year frame and fixing the cut.
Everything is coming together excellent on your build. Nice to watch this being done in your own garage as opposed to a multi million dollar shop with an army of employees! Looking forward to your next video.
Your videos do a great job keeping me motivated on my own projects. I’m currently waiting for the 225 block for my Dart to get back from the machine shop. I might be picking up ‘88 D150 next week. My step-grandfather had a ‘86 and I’ve been passively looking for one that’s not a complete turd for the last few years. If that truck ends up in the driveway then a I’ll be binge watching your back catalog of truck videos. Cheers Yoshi!

Man another nice job brother but I wonder if you could help me out with a not so old truck frame ? I’ve got a 2001 ram with the front frame rusted out where the tie rod bar mounted and I have access to a small junkyard that had the same frame so my question is would you cut it straight across or do more of an L shaped piece so I can put a second plate inside for extra bolts and then close it up ??? What would be stronger or last longer in your opinion ? Thanks man love the vids keep them coming
I'd be inclined to do a step/L-shaped cut and weld a plate across it after stitching it together
That’s what I was thinking too but I’ve never patched a frame where it located so thank you thank you for the help
Really starting to look like a truck, great job. May I ask where you got your transfer case mounts?
