If Jacqueline did every movie interview ever I wouldn't be upset. This is one of the rare interview moments in which it's hard to see the barrier between interviewer & interviewee. I love the fact that after each question, she actually let them respond unlike most interviews. You can tell she's present with each person she engages, and her questions were hitting!! This felt more like a group friends discussing film after a lecture on film at a creative arts school. You know they smoked as soon as class was over. All the giggling and joking give me "we high AF and we just chilling" vibes. Nobody was standoffish, and everyone had a moment to shine. Which doesn't happen often in group interviews. I've been excited to see this since the first trailer dropped. This might be the first movie this year that I go to the theater for. Jordan Peele don't miss!! 🎯
This interviewer was excellent - she was prepared, engaging, and just asking interesting questions. The "Nope" cast is really selling this movie for me!
Keke Palmer is how every once child actor should excel - her and Journee Smollett really set the bar going from child star to high quality actress - so happy for her!
Black child stars are mostly ignored after they age out. That was their saving grace. The other kids get put on a direct path to self destruction when they are still too young to say no and their parents are still to ambitious to walk away.
The way Keke sits is so...confident? Like she has perfected the perfect pose/posture to take up space and be confident about it. Love her energy so much!
This was a great interview! I love that she gave each person their flowers spoke to their individual talent and perspective and how that adds to the brilliance that is Jordan Peele. Well done, Sista girl- Well Done!
Jacqueline Coley, you did a FANTASTIC JOB! This is probably one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen/heard and I didn’t want this to end!! A true master of your craft, I hope to frequently see more of your work!
This is the kind of interview that makes me excited for and about Hollywood. So sick of the emptiness, the vacancy in so many of these landscapes. Anything Jordan Peele touches brings LIFE and inspiration. Thank God in this boring culture.
Keke always works the hardest in room literally and Peele paired with Daniel are two of the most creative duo for a movie they have a emotional connection
JACQUELINE COLEY This was such a thoughtful interview! I haven’t experienced such a thorough interview in a long time and I feel like viewers were pleasantly surprised but the experience you created for us. Incredible job!
Jordan Peele's voice has really changed over time. When he first gotten started on Mad tv he had this nerdy awkward voice. But when he did Key & Peele his nerdy awkward voice still was nerdy but with chilling sense of mysterious and with slight traces of enigmatic nature. Then when he made Get Out his voice became way less nerdy and more mysteriousness and even kind of unsettling. Us came out now that nerdy voice came back but it was more of the loveable kind, and started to be way more deeper. And, now Promoting Nope and his voice became deep as all hell, while still possessing the nerd he was always. He started out as encyclopedia man then ended up as a slimmer Orson Welles.
This is an incredible interview. I haven’t watched many but this had such a casual fun vibe where everyone got to have fun while also bringing engaging discussion to the table. Felt like I was laughing right there with em ngl give this interviewer a raise 😂😂
I think THE most insidious thing about Jordon's movies as well as The Twilight Zone is the fact that he knows how to scare Black people on a level I have yet to see anywhere else. When he and Keegan were talking about how Black folk will say, "That is of the devil.", and just walk away from something so on the nose. It's funny, because it's true. 😂 We don't really mess with that kind of stuff. And from that statement to creating a mazing, and even though I adore AND am extremely proud of him, eff him for that episode about a mom trying to get her son to college episode. He knew what a nightmare that would be for a single Black mom. 😖😨🤬😉🤯😂
I'm soo proud of this cast and Peele! I feel like I've followed each if their careers: Peele from being a sketch actor to a Oscar winning big budget film director, Steven from a supporting role in a TV show to an Oscar nominated star of a big budget film, Daniel from completely unknown star of a small indy film to an Oscar winning A list actor that carries a big budget film, and Keke from child star to an all around film/TV actor. Congrats, guys!!

I love how clear the trailers have made that this movie is about aliens! But that's so exciting because it means there's so much more we don't know. At first glance I got cult vibes but then later on theres stuff about horses which could elude to anything. I really cant wait to see NOPE esp seeing daniel kaluuya in a jordan peele movie again wow 😭💖
We haven't really seen the aliens or creatures. They just showed us a UFO and some money going ballistic and having a mental breakdown. Oh and something freaky is going on with the horses. That's all we REALLY KNOW!
Going to be real, I have heard that this movie is as advertised. I don't think Mr. Peele wants to be that "director that always brings a deeper meaning" You are about to see a block bluster-style alien invasion horror movie where the only evil this time is the real monsters. If you go into this waiting and looking for a twist, you might be let down.
@@thefreshlab Okay then. Hang on to that hope. Test screenings say, there is no big shocking twist. It's just a straight-up horror movie with a plot that unfolds normally. Not my opinion. You can look it up if you like.
