Wow! Thanks for all the kind comments. It was fun working with the wonderful folks at Rio to do this video. And the bench pin is painted blue-That way the wax and my hands are more visible.
I was actually looking for making a wax bezel, but clicked by mistake. Glad I did, you show so much of what I should have been doing properly. Thank you! Great video!
I’m so lucky today that I found your video, now I can correct my mistakes working on my bezel/ring shank wax ❤you inspired me. Continue your excellent work 😊
Hi! I have a few questions: 1. Can you just use an alcohol lamp and metal dab tool to apply the wax if you don't have a wax pen? What's the benefit of the wax pen? Is it just being able to control the temperature better? 2. Why are you using carving wax and touch up wax as opposed to perfect purple wax? Does it matter? Thanks so much!!
Thank you so much! This the first time I have heard of some of the techniques use you use, yet I have paid for several classes.

Hi Shira! Yes, you could use an alcohol lamp and a metal tool to do the same. :)
Just for carving wax i assume these tools never need sharpened?
