- Mark Cousins introduces Nicolas Roeg's 'Bad Timing' for BBC2's Moviedrome.
Thanks to Luke Meadley and Kaprisky for the video.
REQUEST: if anyone has the Alex Cox introduction(s) to 'Point Blank' and 'The Long Goodbye' for BBC2's The Film Club; and/or Mark Cousins' intro for 'Eyes without a Face' for the Forbidden Season, could you please upload or get in touch. Thank you.
I still recall the night this went out. My favourite film.
Me too and I remember trying to describe it to some work colleagues the next day, They were appalled.
Just watched this. Found it a little slow at first but the character building is good. Movedrome needs to come back. Mark should just do it weekly on his own youtube channel, or website.
Nobody other than Cousins has ever spoken about a film as beautifully or as sensitive as this. Where is Cousins please?
Bij mijn weten niet verschenen op VHS of DVD.
Lawrence Of Arabia, "that long, tedious film". I bet he's changed his view over time.
I mean, isn't Lawrence of Arabia supposed to feel long and tedious? I always thought that was Lean's intent. Lawrence spends most of that movie frustrated with his inability to get things done in the desert, whether it's gaining the loyalty of various tribes or dealing with the British bureaucrats. It's a long and tedious process, init.
Bad Timing inspired the editing in Teddy Bears Live Forever
