Many thanks for this and all the other Moviedrome intros. It was a big - little - programme for me growing up so to be reacquainted with the intros from the Alex Cox era is an absolute pleasure.
"Lies become very valuable. . ." Another great introduction by Alex Cox. Jessica Walter was outstanding in this film and I recall watching Arrested Development and not realising it was her in this for a few episodes. Then the penny dropped. Obviously she's done loads of other TV too.
Last I heard, domestic violence towards men by women is as prevalent as in the more familiar other direction, but far far less scrutinised socially. The subject remains a taboo. (No letters, please.)
